Windows 7 is being phased out.

32 bit systems are long dead. While Microsoft still has minimal support for it, games devs dropped 32 bit last year, wont be long until everyone else follows.

To put it bluntly, it's only a matter of time before the only thing your system runs is old stuff.

You really only have 2 options, update or go retro.
I have Windows 8.1 64 bit system game that doesn't work either(sadly)

Is it just me or is this episode taking longer to develop?
What do you think?
Have the same feeling but can also be deceiving me. But we are over the hill and guess it won't take long anymore, with a little luck maybe in the next 1-2 weeks or sooner.

I understand that there are about 1-2 weeks left before the release. I'm just wondering if the increase in development time is due to the amount of content, or if it is due to some personal difficulties of the developer.

There are so many games I've been waiting for to update (this one is in the top 3). Yet the website is just constantly uploading shit 1 star weird vague ass fetish games. God I miss games like this.
To be fair, almost everything is a 1 star weird vague-ass fetish game. Usually because a lot of those projects are first projects from a dev who learned code from a "Java for Dummies" booklet and some youtube tutorials. Then they either want to make something super expansive and focused on their specific fetish or just blindly jump on Patreon trends hoping they'll make it big by riding Fenoxo's or Akabur's or other random famous porn dev's coattails.

Like any creative endeavor, hitting the right note is hard and takes practice. But unlike a lot of creative endeavors making a game takes a lot of work, and people want to be compensated for their time, so instead of making and trashing a bunch of projects like most artists/authors before anything goes up, they throw up a Patreon and link it on that because they've spent hours working on the damn thing and feel they should be rewarded for something which is honestly not even a quarter baked. So you wind up with the Fanfic problem being exaggerated by the fact that writing a good game is significantly harder and more time consuming than writing a good fanfic.

In patreon, the creator's page say x amount of money per release. Does that mean he will only get 5K if he released an episode? How does that work?

Patreon has two billing patterns, as chosen by the creator: Pay per month or pay per [event] where the latter boils down to 'whenever the creator pushes a button that says [event] has happened'
