well i assume youre referring to me, and, dont care about reactions at all. point me to some criticism and where i couldnt handle it. or where there was valid criticism at all, not simply children whining, in this thread. pretty sure youll be hard pressed to do so. negativity i can handle, just dont understand how anyone can let their life become so pathetic their only joy comes from constantly whining on an internet forum about a software delay. you dont want to wait. we get it. im sure throwing a tantrum about it constantly is going to speed things up. very mature. or pull up your big boy pants, and go do something else while you wait to steal their game. i guess being an adult is too difficult for some....

- Appartment Store, to change habitation or furnish it for different benefits, for a price

Thanks for the updates, you're the shining light for us who have lost hope. We still need a definitive month for the release though.
I'll believe that release date when I see it. Maybe then I'll resubscribe. Glad it took months to see screenshots of multiple menu's. That's progress. Imagine if the the team actually shared stuff like that on a regular basis with the supporters instead of us having to get our news from some third party. God bless you, Experimental.

Hey folks!
A quick status update on Arenus.
The game is pretty much gold, things that are missing are:
- Adding variable increases/decreases to dialogues I added before we added the breakthrough personality system (Roughly a day of work)
- Polishing two companion quest branches (4-5 hours per branch)
- Adding 4-5 repeatable scenes (30 minutes work per scene)
- Adding 2 NPC CG Scenes (3 hours work per scene)
These things can be done before the year is over, but I really want to do a quick intern QA phase before we release the game.
With the QA Phase in mind, we won't be able to release this year.
So instead we'll be releasing early January.
Between the 5th and 15th January depending on how the final QA Phase goes.
I spent a lot of time polishing and bug-fixing the game as we developed it, so it shouldn't take too long.
Thanks for your trust and support during these final days.
I'm sorry that we couldn't release in December, I'm pretty much in crunch since half a year and it starting to take a toll on my body.
But now with the finish line just a few steps ahead, I feel rejuvenated and can't wait to press the upload button.
if this turns out to be legit and we get it in january all the coping and seething in this thread will be hilarious

Uhm, you know that ship has sailed so far away you would need a Meteor to hit the sweet spot now. The devs messed up so hard no one somewhat sane would ever want to work with them together, being afraid they get into the not reliable zone themselves.
