Yeah I know it doesn't transfer. I guess he is giving them the benefit of the doubt. Sort of like: I am going to try and trust them or at least be friendly to them, but may hold back at some point. It's not like he told them about him and Cassie yet. Only DK, June and Kindra know. He is probably holding back like with Kindra's "offer" (I am being vague on purpose).

Well, I guess I'm going to be the yin to your yang and not trust the sorority girls. Personally I don't feel the MC needs them or the company that he interviewed with... He can jump feet first into working with Kindra on the offer and not bother with them. Will that make my game super short and boring? Probably, but I doubt that digi.b is actually going to let us make that choice (too bad). I would love it if we could just have the MC hunker down and focus on things other than the sorority and all the drama they will undoubtedly introduce into his life.

Yeah, I am wondering if the Dev will have a branch here - social and sorority versus antisocial and no sorority. I doubt it because that would be a lot of work but I am curious if we are just going to be forced to have the MC forgive Reina and work for the company. Considering the decisive toss of his phone towards the end of the chapter I would be disappointed if he just forgave and forgot and went to work for them. I am hopeful that he focuses on Kindra's project and doesn't see any of them until the sorority's party they are hosting.

I guess we shall have to wait and see. I am terrible at that.

Plot seems very similar o harem hotel, hoping the android story is completely different.

I hope the game gives you the possibility to be friends with benefits with all girls and leaving only the final part of the game open to choose which one to pick for a serious relationship, so it's easy to see all the endings and not miss any of the content on the way there.

Kudos to Katy, she's gorgeous and easily best girl with Kindra in second place.

Yes, she is a good antagonist, but I dont mind if she has a redemption in the end, with enfasis in "in the end". If it happens half way, like Steph in Leap of Faith, Im afraid it may lose wind in the sails... At the moment Cass is a really good character to be against the MC/player!!

Yeah, I just don't see how she can really be redeemed. It would be one thing if she was at all remorseful but every time we see her in this episode she doubles down on her bitchy behavior. The only time we see ANYTHING is when she reacts to things and we kinda see that there's a chink in her armor. But that doesn't excuse what she did and continues to do to the MC. She is also in a relationship with Nicholas so on top of her bitchiness there's the fact she's with someone else.

Even if she falls from grace with TWR it just means she gets her comeuppance, why would the MC want to help her? He spent 3 years in therapy trying to deal with the huge trust issues she caused, then as soon as he sees her she is sabotaging him AGAIN.

As for Reina - I don't really want anything to do with her either. She took Cassandra's word over June's word, her client's opinion matters more than her friend and employee's word, matters more than her own impression of the MC. I've said it many times in this thread but I really hope Digi.b has the MC ignore all the chicks or allows the player to choose to have the MC do nothing with them (I will accept that it will be boring and have zero lewd scenes). The MC should get a new phone with a new number and avoid the fuck out of them since they also work for Reina. Reina proved she makes terrible decisions. Maybe the MC could then do a surprise appearance at the Halloween Party...

For me I just want the MC to work for Kindra full time on the project and live downstairs in the batcave with Koko (need to hide that dog now that people know about her).

I think it would be awesome and nearly unprecedented if digi.b did allow the player to avoid the girls and focus on Kindra, the project, and Koko. I only said "nearly unprecedented" to hedge my bets but I honestly don't know of another game that allows the player to avoid a huge plot line like that. It would be similar to a "no sex" route in other games, which I have seen in a few. Just allowing that degree of choice would be great but it also makes sense for the character.

The MC when we meet him is finally finishing 3 years of therapy and still won't touch alcohol due to his deeply rooted trust issues, even when he thinks a friend may be offering him alcohol (June in the bar) he makes it clear he won't touch it.

It seems he may not have had a sexual relationship since Cassandra - he and June chose to friendzone themselves, they both agreed that they had an one night stand and decided friendship was more important than sex. At the start of the game he trusts two people - DK and June - he grows to trust Kindra due to their past connection but after the way he was treated by Reina I could see his trust of June being damaged. With all of those trust issues I don't see him brushing off the whole situation with women he has known for 2-3 days (?) just because Reina apologizes to him.

This is where I worry about the next installment. Obviously it is incredibly unlikely that they will allow us to ignore the majority of their love interests/sexual partners but, at the same time, they can't just casually fix the issue with a phone call and a blowjob if they want to make a game that is more than a fuck fantasy. Perhaps the next update could be about Kindra, Koko, and the project... Have the MC get a new phone and phone number, perhaps he goes with Kindra to one of her gigs after awhile and bumps into one or two of the girls there. However it is done I just don't want it to be a quick fix if they are going to say the MC is this broken and has such large trust issues.

I also want a meaningful fix between them. But watching how polish the first realise was, I dont see digi.b makeing half assed solutions between the characters.
I find myself in a very optimistic state waiting for the next release to be honest. After playing other 0.1 games, like Life in Santa County, I really appreciate this game .

Yeah, this was a much better release than we've seen in awhile and I couldn't even finish LISC. Still find it difficult to be optimistic about anything this year, I am a fucking curmudgeonly person. I suppose I am hopeful but not optimistic. Most game developers end up going for the porn and not the story. I would love it if this one proves me wrong.

Just played this update, and my god the story so far is great, the traumatic event that happened to the MC sounded kind of meh to me at first then further into the game it gets better. That was a great way to end the update with Cassandra getting what she deserves, I applaud u digi-b. The one thing that concerned me was the way the MC acted with Jennifer when she attached him blindfolded he kinda seem like a pussy and not someone that was trained by a military woman, I guess it could be because of his trauma but I don't know.

IIRC it is October in the game, I'd have to check to make sure though.

I was actually expecting that the next update would be one with very little from the House of Ink and Reina's company, then the update after that could be the Halloween party. Of course I really have no idea, but I am hopeful that they don't rush the MC (and players) right back into contact with everyone after he threw is phone into the lake, which was a very decisive act. We shall have to wait and see what happens next.
