No updates on the shirts. Still waiting for the sample order to come in.
Good news about the voice actress. We've been working on dialing in Artemis' cooing sound. So those curious about the sound can look forward to that small patch. This feature will be toggleable in the settings menu, so if it's too distracting. You're not forced to have it on.
This week, I'll be working on some dialogue edits. The thing about having a large cast is all the personalities you need to track. I often go back and review the dialogue and make sure it matches the personality. Having a large cast like in Artemis is really nice, but my next project will be smaller (about 5). A lot of my inspiration is drawn from games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect (and now Baldur's Gate 3...finally got to play after releasing CH5 ). The romance options in those games are nice and tight. Makes for cleaner variable tracking, chunky main plot with nice side-arcs weaved in. That's future talk, though. Chapter 6 will continue progressing the main story, with opportunities to interact with LIs should you be on their path.

As a Limited English proeficent person, I felt somehow atacked and offended, not to speak that there is a percieved passive aggresive, implication to those who don't share your point of view regarding the quality of the VN in your posts.

The plot is the weakest point of the VN. I'm sorry but NONE of the story makes any sense. I love the premise of Artemis (the android) as a concept, but people can't be inventing AGI left and right in high school, while also being the daughter of Tony Stark himself with a side-hustle as the female reincarnation of Tiesto. It's too much.

Artemis' story never claimed as being in real life story. For claiming story does not make sense you need to find inconsistency in storyline, the world created by the author. You can't say dragons are not real therefore this story does not make sense in a fantasy setting story. In Artemis story our characters are good enough to be that good. MC is a coding genius and created AI with his high school sweetheart, this is an established fact in the story line. Kindra is entirely different story, she is a genius among the geniuses, protege of a heritage that created by 2 geniuses who are the parents of her. Her mother discovered her talent in music when she was around 10. As Cassandra said, she was in top 3 of every subject even though she was much younger than them. Also there are people like them, for example Ben Franklin was a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher, and political philosopher. Was he too much too?

All in all, what you say does not mean anything in this regards.

It feels quaint and middle school-y to write all these literally incredible (as in "impossible to believe") plot points that ultimately create no tension in the story. Look up the concept of "deus ex machina" in storytelling. It's a very unhelpful trope. More mature viewers will struggle to willingly suspend disbelief.

What is exactly makes it deus ex machina? If you are talking about everyone being good at what they do, you should look up the concept of deus ex machina. That basically means untangle plot point by improbable character, which is never the case for Artemis. The closest one being deus ex machina is Project Zeus but the effects of it still not revealed, therefore we do not have enough info to create such a strong opinion.
As far as the story goes there is nothing resolved unexpectedly and there are no unbelievable character which creates miracles without establishing their capabilities. Being coding genius, engineering master etc. is not even remotely close to what you are saying.

It's hard to argue they're there for eye candy since there's hardly any porn there other than some nudes.

*Because* the dialogue is lengthy, "nothing that happens matter" and then viewers don't really care about the story anymore. Have you played the game? Are you not seeing the connection of sorority house to plot? Ex president of INK founded IV which is basically the place where story unfolded. Zelda a lawyer who currently working on AI case, Reina president of IV who binds them together, June a chemist which actively working on Koko AI robo pooch etc. Not gonna dive deep but almost all of sorority girls, except freshmen as of yet, is part of main story. Since the story is not over yet and when there are lots of indication that they will be integral part of the story claiming they are not needed is being prejudice and extremely unfair.

Finally, more controversially, the MC is waaaaay too weak minded. Dude sobs for half of the story, has nude girls literally throwing themselves at him and all he does it feel bad and sad and masturbate. People read stories to feel related to inspiring characters that show development, growth, maturity and overcoming great odds. The only real "great odds" here are whether he can get over getting fucked over, but I swear any guy that was fucked over and found himself living with Kindra, with several sorority girlfriends, and didn't have to worry about money would be banging the shit out of all of them and having a proper blast. I appreciate this is hard for some younger people to accept these days to believe in because they were so thoroughly indoctrinated by media and schools into becoming a pushover male because the world hates men now, but trust me, that is NOT what healthy-minded people want from you.

Forgive me but I am convinced that you haven't pay attention to neither to the game nor the story itself. Saying MC is too weak minded after knowing what he went through is either being cruel or not knowing what is human psychology. Since you seem like know a few things about it and does not sound like cruel, I am convinced you have not been paying attention to the game.
Ain't no one getting fucked over like MC got, starts trusting people that easily. 3 years extensive care of doc is barely enough and you can't claim this being unreal. To be fair, the story doesn't make real life sense because it's absolutely unrealistic that a single individual could program an android like that, let alone within such a short timeline. But since this isn't a hyper-realistic story, it's entirely consistent with the rest of the "reality" within the story.

So, if one is looking for a hyper-realistic story, then no it's doesn't make sense and is poorly written. But in a semi-realistic fantasy entertainment story, it's entirely possible and logical.

But since this isn't a hyper-realistic story, it's entirely consistent with the rest of the "reality" within the story.

So, if one is looking for a hyper-realistic story, then no it's doesn't make sense and is poorly written. But in a semi-realistic fantasy entertainment story, it's entirely possible and logical.

MC doesn't have to program the android, he only has to program the learning components for the new shell. He already has the baseline from the robodog which had it's own ability to self-extend the base code and learn how to learn, something which MC was surprised by when he met the most recent version. Where he can add improvements and work through incompatibilities as well as add new function capability (original baseline code was a quadruped and male whereas Artemis is a bipedal female, etc.). Much of Artemis' core function code was already done by Kindra's parents, so he can focus on the AI portion.

However this is a science fiction setting where technical facts are not a limiting factor. This is a story about people, not how to run a software and hardware development project and all the potential pitfalls that you have to plan for and work around.
