What an odd thing to do this far into development.

This is what happens when a new writer takes over. I expect the game to turn to complete boring nonsense with the announcement the ntr content is being ended completely. It gave the sense of competition for the MC and made things less boring overall once you finished one path. You could go back and play through things with different choices to get different outcomes.

Well I've supported this dev since the beginning so has my wife and a few friends. And honestly this is just turning into a mess delays, lack of information, poor communication, drama with the staff and now a new game released before this is finished. Theres alot of supporters unhappy and still no clear communication as to what's going on. My wife, friends and I are dropping our pledges before we get billed again. Such a shame this game was amazing and dev at the beginning was great but now it's just drama and lies.

Hey Major Wanker, are you stirring the pot or something? It sounds like you're trying to instigate drama on this thread with that comment. And this isn't the first thread you've done this to.

For those of you who can't go back a page or two, what happened is quite simple - their writer for this game had some serious issues in his life and without any notice, he suddenly just stopped doing his job. They tried to give him a chance to respond and some time, he got another writer to take over so no more time was wasted. Since the game is near the end, the writer needs to be able to read the previous dialogues and get the information about what paths the characters are on so when they start writing, it's a smooth continuation of the plot. Training the new writer takes times so it's a cohesive story. So you must understand one thing CLEARLY.. all this takes time and it's just ONE situation over a writer and trying to get the new one into the story.

Knowing the situation the with the writer and planned new game after the ending of Babysitter, it sounds like you're trying to make a situation sound even worse than it is to create drama in this thread. Major Wanker liked to tell people about his/her army of lawyers, say they support a huge amount of creators on Patreon, and then make statements that were directly contradicted by other people who had proof. More than one thread. At current count, I think it's 5 threads with drama so far.

then make your own decision. Graphtreon shows an upward trend since April. Patreon averages about 2 posts per month but in May, he's made 9 posts and at least 3 of them were about Babysitter. "Poor communication", "Lack of information", "supporters unhappy", etc? I don't see that all.

The poll is not very well structured - unless it was the intent to force the second option to win. It's not about NTR vs vanilla, it actually reads more as a vote for the original game, the new game or both. Big surprise 'both' won. It doesn't reveal anything other than that.

For example, I like both games but really only for NTR paths. Where was my option in the survey?

Another delay yet the release for 0.1.8 did indeed materialize after the first month delay and if you do look back those said pages that scenario with the new writer getting acquired was during the months of February and march after the release of 0.1.8b and quite frankly there are other dev's that have legit matters such as being a single parent with children to look after that is more a priority then a script.

Maybe you didn't notice but the writer is guilty was the excuse for the delays since February not just one delay...
The problem is Taboo hires a new writer BUT instead of finishing his "MAIN" project he releases a new game... why? If he has spare time and wants to release a second game ok... no problem... BUT his updates are delaying for 6 or 7 months... so it seems that he has NO spare time.. so I really don't know how you can excuse him when he is making stupid decisions...

Ok if you want to talk about OTHER developers...
Kids are a legit reason? Hmm... yes... hmm... no...
Why? Its simple... as long as you deliver something for free... you can use kids as a legit reason!
BUT when you ask for pledges and make promises you have to deliver... ok sometimes shit happens so an update can be delayed... but kids are no 1 time reason... and its no surprise that kids can make problems... so a developer should know if he/she can handle both or not.
You can't start a job in a company and tell your boss every second day that you are late because of your kids...
As long developers "sell" their game they should treat this like a job and not like a hobby where stupid people pay for your time...

The developer can ask money per update and not per month. So a delay wouldn't be a problem... but many developers live from the money and need every month money.. ok... but then you have to deliver!!!

And I remember Taboo started alone. In the beginning he delivered bigger updates on time... and he wrote the text alone... now with a team the updates are smaller and are delayed... it seems that Taboo can't lead/manage a team... besides making stupid decisions...

not surprising, its much harder to make a game with many different routes.
also, as I mentioned in another post, when girl is fucked, its not as exciting anymore, better focus on new girls.
i suspect if they could they would just stop updating the game and focus on the new game.
at least the patrons are smart enough telling they want the game to continue.
too bad they will end the NTR routes, those are more interesting.

I was very corrected in my last post and I do apologize and it's true if you have a page that is asking for pledges and with each tier there are conditions to what they get for content on being in each tier is a bit much it's pretty much saying hey if you want more then pay more here's the rundown all porn paysites have a standard payment system that is subscription based and all those that do pay get equal treatment and the exact same content gets shown around eventually anyways. So realistically the patreon vs public versions should really be non-existent as well.

If you say yes to her sleeping with other men, it will put you on the open relationship path, if you say no, she will stay exclusive to you.
