When you're making money a month by scratching your balls with lies, you're neither worried nor have any dignity, let alone enter a forum where your game is talked about and you don't even respond.Vladimir Putin (well, at least not Joseph Stalin), it's good that RAinces comes in, so he's alive, not in the hospital, and not in prison. And this is the most important thing in a person's life. Everything else will settle down somehow. And I don't think RAinces is laughing at us. He's probably worried that he got into such a stupid situation. And he doesn't see how to get out of it with dignity. Yes, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
I've followed a few developers, and when one realized they weren't going to be able to keep their schedule (and another fell behind by like a month from their identified release date), they both made a post explaining the situation and apologizing and paused their Patreon collection until they were able to deliver the promised update. And once they were caught up, they resumed collections.
Because he is. But assuming that Axeman is real, we will soon forget about RA. In 2 weeks a new version of another author's hand will appear.
Will him?
Even if he did, there is a lot more of us asking Axeman99 to keep going, so I doubt that would have much of an affect. Even if Rainces tried to go after Axeman99 legally, we wouldn't have a leg to stand on. All the CG assets in his game are made by other people, the story content and plot are in contradiction to Patreons ethics and if they notice what he is selling they will shut him down. Added to which Axeman99 isn't charging any money for his version so Rainces can't claim loss of income.
