I did like the revamp, the plot now makes more sense, the old one starts like "you have all the power in the world in this island, but not really", now we actually get a reason on why we just can't start fucking everything that moves and there is a progression to be made

battles at the cave are really hard at the start, after you get to level 10 everything is a joke (that's easily solved with a level cap), if sophie didn't miss her attacks so much is wouldn't be so annoying at the start, she shouldn't miss more than 50% of her attacks, at most 20%/10%, the only RPG where you miss your hits a lot that I had the patience of finishing was earthbound and it was way less frequent than this
