Sorry, I misspoke. Jill sees Chad assaulting MC, or at least the final part of the assault. but what she denounces is the bullying of which MC is allegedly the victim, which in Jill's thinking is a certainty reinforced by Dawe's actual bullying of MC

so she is not denouncing what she saw, but the interpretation she gave to the incident, an interpretation which MC denies.
Okay, that goes back to making it harder for me to see what she did wrong. Any witness who reports a crime will present their interpretation of it, and will do so before the victim does. Sorting things out is an investigator's job.

Finally finished all branches in ep 9 and wanted to write a few words about each girl some girls (and update my old tierlist from ep 7). Note that this also takes into account my enjoyment from watching a character interact with MC and how they integrate into the story overall, not just how good of a waifu the character is.

View attachment 2295201

1) Bella. Really enjoyed her branch, good lewds, nice humor and chemistry with MC. Looking forward to more content.

2) Josy was great in this update. She is one of my favs but usually got dragged down by Maya before. She and MC have the best synergy as a couple overall and she had a lot of great moments (phone call from her father etc). Even if not on M&J route, it's interesting how things will turn out (with all that foreshadowing of them splitting).

3) Nicole is great, I really like her and her interactions with MC so far. Beautiful mature woman, condident, no drama, hot sex. What not to like? And based on ep10 preview, her fans will be eating good in the future.

4) I still enjoy Quinn's story, and this update basically gave us even more romantic interactions between her and MC. At the same time, I can't ignore all the warnings that shit is about to go down for her and how it all develops can drastically change my views on Quinn and her plotline. Plus learning that she even lied about Riona smoking for free doesn't add her any points.

5) My first run was on Sage's branch and I was honestly close to placing her in tier A. But after playing other branches and thinking about it, this is mostly MC's fault (who the fuck thinks about Tyballs when a hot redhead cheerleader is riding your cock?). Her interactions with MC were pretty off this update and I am not a fan of her dirty talk or anger issues, but overall Sage's interactions with people at the party (Jill, Josy, Isabella) and a walk of shame were enjoyable.

6) The buildup for a separate Riona branch was happening in previous episodes and continues in ep 9. I like where this is going, looking forward to Rio's future content.

7) Best in "best friend that you can fuck" tier. I like Zoey and like how DPC introduced her into the story. Looking forward to her future content.

8) Maya was actually enjoyable this update because all her drama was in the beginning (and wasn't even that annoying), at the party she was having fun and had her good moments with MC/Josy.

9) Great lewd scene with Mel and Sarah, but I prefer Mel's looks (+ the morning after surprise :sneaky: ) so she's higher.

10) Jill route was a mixed bag. It had it's moments, but overall I'm annoyed by how naive/cringe she is. Jill feels like the least compatible LI with MC and that's an achievement when there's Bella who has her personal drama and is twice the age of MC. Overall the least enjoyable route.

11) Jade. Tier B for being a Bitch :D . I enjoyed her lewd scene and when you are still having an affair with her but man, she is a real bitch in other situations (I can understand when you broke up with her, but she is being one even when you didn't allow her to go further in ep3).

12) Becky... I was looking forward to her future lewd scenes with MC in the past because of that hot deepthroat scene at the HOTs, but this update really killed her as a side girl. At least it introduced some hot alternatives (Tiffany :sneaky: ).

Wow, you really played a lot! Makes me feel I didn't do all the playthroughs available

So far I did:
- No romantic interest, reached ep9 with neutral aff
- No romantic interest, reached ep9 with dik aff
- Sage route
- Josy & Maya
- Jill
- Bella

In all the routes that you choose a particular romantic interest you kind of cut ties with everybody else. Did I miss something?
I still have some undiscovered scenes. Any tips?

Anyway, I enjoyed every branch so far. All of them had their good things
The only one I found a little bit bad is Jill's. Not because she is naive or "chringe" but the unprotected sex part made me feel uncomfortable
I played several games from this website and it's a common thing for MC to have unprotected sex. I am ok with it since it's part of the "fantasy" (nobody gets HIV, STD or pregnant unless the game is designed with that intention from the beggining) kind of like when you watch porn

The thing is that all of a sudden Jill's breaks that fantasy and lands you to the "land of reality": everybody is having unprotected sex and nobody seems to care despite the huge life threatening risks, which is not a good thing in RL (Arieth was the only mention of and STD but it looked like it was done to make fun of her ignorance and the alpha's)
To make it worst the MC complains both about wearing a condom or having himself tested which makes HIM a stupid ignorant and idiot. (who the hell fucks Quinn / Melani / Lily / Nicole / Sade without a condom and then complaints about someone asking you to get tested?)
If you had to be a "massive dik" on this route I would understand MC moronic view about it, but since for Jill you have to be neutral / chick I found it disturbing that MC / Dereks treat the subject like Jill is completely wrong / stupid / obnoxious.
Didn't like that part all

but this is not true. in a testimony only facts count, not the experience and opinions of the witness

if I see a bike stolen I report the theft of a bike, not the criminal intent for which it was stolen in my opinion

the confrontation in this way becomes pointless, Jill reports the bullying, the bullying is not there and Chad gets off with a symbolic punishment

how is it fair for Jill to continue to maintain, in front of the authorities, a version of the incident that MC the person concerned denies? Jill goes far beyond her duties

The 9.1 version; I'm missing Jill 2, 13, and 15, as well as Josy 9, 15, and 16.

Also missing scenes 3, 4, and 8, if the persistent file covers those as well.
Well, are you sure you put the the file in the correct folder and renamed it like it's described in the README file? Whatever. Try this file. Extract the content into the ...\games\saves folder and don't forget to delete the old persistent file in this folder or let it overwrite.

If that is what she thinks she saw, then, no, it is not far beyond her duties. If you are saying that she went beyond reporting what she saw and instead expounding on what she thinks, again, that is up to the investigator(s) to rein in. It's pretty common for people to elide what they see and what they think.

Question: how do you guys imagine a solo Josy route (or Maya, but that seems further off) developing? How will it come to life?

The solo Josy route is clearly teased a lot, with both her and MC frequently mentioning how much they care for the each other, even if they just remain friends. Likewise, we also see that Josy and Maya's relationship is rocky (if not on the throuple path), insinuating that a breakup is on the cards. A likely development would of course be that we continue to see these themes all throughout Season 3: Josy and Maya keep bickering, and MC and Josy keep sharing moments where they realize how much they like each other. This would be the foundation for the solo Josy branch.

However, I do see a large obstacle for this to work, namely what the implications would be for Maya. If Josy and MC were to date again, it would leave Maya in very strange spot, as they are her two best friends at B&R, who she spends most of her time with. How could they ever be friends again after that, especially when the relationship between them has already been subject to a lot of drama? If they can't, then what happens to Maya? How does she stay involved in the story, if her relationship with Josy and MC deteriorates?

Another possibility is that Josy is kept only as an ending option for MC, if not on the throuple, similar to how Ana was someone you could end up with in Acting Lessons, but not actually date during the story. I believe this would be quite tragic, but it would solve all the issues of dealing with implications for Maya.

What do you guys think? How do you imagine it going?

Side note: I notice that the conversation with Josy in Episode 9, after you take a picture with her and she asks MC if her still thinks about her, seems to set a variable "ep9_josy_wonder", at either 3, 2 or 1. Perhaps there will be similar choices in coming episodes, and if you go above a certain threshold by the end of Season 3, Josy's doubts about Maya become so strong that she cannot ignore them anymore.

Jill will demand a test even if the last time you had sex was more than a year ago, with Zoey (who also only had sex with you). The chances of having an STD are zero in this case.
So no, getting upset over this demand isn't necessarily moronic. It's also disrespectful towards the guy who risked massive embarrassment by going on stage to save you and your dream of playing in front of an audience (would have also been a traumatic failure).

That sounds like a very entitled "Nice Guy" attitude.

It's her body and health at stake. If she wants to institute a "no glove, no love" policy, that is 100% her prerogative. It's disrespectful to *her* to suggest that MC has earned some sort of waiver and has a grievance if it's not granted.

For the record, I don't like Jill. I find plenty of *good* reasons not to, which is why it puzzles me that people present such bad and convoluted reasons for not doing so.

Maya's really a reclusive movie-obsessed dweeb girl. Sure, if left alone, she'd sulk. But so what? Actually, the main worry would be that she suicide from it. That's a possibility, and I wouldn't put it past the dark-minded DPC to pull that kind of guilt trip on the player.

I myself want to steal Josy away from that sandpaper-skinned freak. But, we'll have to see what the plan is. I'm currently doing everything I can to distance myself from Maya. And, I like what the story's doing in that regard. Nice.

Beating up Troy always feels wrong to me. But beating up Dawe should be a right of passage. Fuck you Dawe!
Nah... I enjoyed beating Troy. He was a prick from day one, was a prick with you every time you talked to him. Is a prick every time you try and be nice, kicked you out of your room (you would have been there to help him if had been nicer)... nope, he deserved what he got and I was happy to give him what he deserved.

If you don't want to be beaten up than, ummm... be nice? Otherwise get used to being beaten. Both him and Dawe are pricks for different reasons.

decided to restart my Jill path at the beginning of the game to keep MC exclusive to her. enjoyed ep 9 Jill path alot. esp the trip to the doctor to see the douchebag Dawe coming out of the doc's office. laughed my ass off at that one. scenes with Jill and friends were awesome. one thing though, MC should have given Matthew a heads up that it is not wise to threaten him with anything since MC can kick his ass and would too.
now time to do the same with Bella. last LI run to finish.

One question: Is there any way to enable or disable minigames according to your preferences?

I enjoyed restauring the mansion and planning party in Ep9, but I dislike test exams and maze games. I mean, they were ok at first but when you do multiple playthroughs they get annoying, so I disabled them to play ep1-8 but I'd love to enable them back for ep9

Not everyone accepts everything that's demanded of them, like I assume you do. And this was not a discussion about why people should like Jill or not, I was merely addressing one part of that post's ep9 review.
If you're puzzled you're probably not understanding everything.
