I'm hoping this is a decision if you are outside of the relationship. Going along with being Maya bf can lead to relationship with her, refusing her can lead to relationship with Josy.

I don't think DPC wants to take back the twist of the first season, which at this point practically any player could re-enter the triple. and I repeat that asking a refused MC to pretend to be her boyfriend would reach a new peak of sadism

I still don't like the choice, but if it does happen, I agree that it is very likely to lead to a breakup

and absolutely it is very likely that the future of Maya and Josy passes from this test, depending on how they get there and how they get out.

Perhaps not on the rejection path, but on the friendship path it's the MC who is essentially rejecting them, or at least saying that he isn't ready to pursue something more. In Ep 5, both of them express some degree of being unhappy that he didn't want to be more than just friends and him spending more time with them, particularly if he has to pretend to be Maya's boyfriend, could open that door again if he now feels he wants it too.

If you think about it terms of the MC and not the player, he could choose friendship because he doesn't feel right about imposing himself on their relationship, meanwhile he could be FWB with Sage, dating Jill, and fooling around with Bella and side girls, or doing none of that, but by spending time with M&J he might find himself wanting more but feeling like the chance has gone. Then they, after another fight/break-up, realise that it's because of him and because they want him and they try to see if there's still a chance, to which he could say 'yes'. This would, of course, be a player choice, but it could be how the friendship path might go, similar to how rejecting Sage might be coming back to another chance at being with her.

in my opinion it should be decisive what we said to Derek (otherwise it would have been a useless segment)

MC cannot leave Maya in trouble, so if Maya will ask him to be her fake boyfriend, Mc will do it (to the delight of many players)


so if we told Derek that we still care about Maya, being her fake boyfriend could bring us closer to her, if instead we said we were interested in Josy, herjealousy and possibly her bad mood towards Maya, who puts her aside again because of her father, will be determined

I have not yet made a route to Maya or Josy, in some DIKish routes I have also made Josy's name, but only because in the final post rejection recap there seem to be more possibilities with her than with Maya

Wouldn't this crazy father of Maya's be happier to find Maya is not in any relationship at all, and just has her head in the books studying? Sure he definitely has an issue with her being gay, but wouldn't a highly religious, controlling parent have an issue with her dicking around with some guy too? I can't remember if the dad actually knows who Josy is or what she looks like, of if he just knows Maya is in to girls and that's it. If it's the latter, surely her sharing a dorm room with another girl is to be expected at college and the father can't expect her to be sharing with a guy.

Maya tells us that the ultimatum concerned Josy directly (which in my opinion the father sees as guilty of Maya's homosexual "phase") and then I would say that if he were interested in studying it would not jeopardize her participation in college.

so Josy absolutely has to keep her distance
