Maybe when BaDIK has found its end.
If I were to play AL now, my perception of BaDIK might be distorted even more than it already is. :ROFLMAO:
If you stick around this thread long enough you'll eventually have the whole game spoiled for you one way or the other. I'd say it's better to play AL yourself and form your own views straight from the source, rather than let us filter it through our various lenses.

i know they aren’t in the same universe. I’m saying there will likely be themes in this game that can also be found in AL. There may be similar character archetypes, similar problems to overcome, similar fears to face, and similar temptations/choices to be made, and similar fantasies explored.

this is already apparent in that Maya and Josy are Meghan and Melissa to some extent, Derek is Liam to some extent, etc. the fantasy of the throuple was previously explored in AL, for example. There may be a character that is similar to Ana or Rena or even Leah either introduced at some point or brought into MCs life (like Zoey maybe). I’m not saying that every facet of AL will bleed into this game, but some parts definitely will. I would guess that the throuple and the wacky yet ultra loyal best friend are prevalent in both because they are things DPC has personal experience with in some way. He didn’t pick these things merely for marketing or whatever; he is writing what he knows. The reason Liam is so well received and likeable and seems so well written and real is not merely because DPC is talented, but likely because he has had a person like that in their life or that he had spent considerable time wishing/dreaming that he did.

for someone who theorizes so much about this game, I see no reason you don’t explore AL. Consuming more works from an author can help you better appreciate or understand their work. it’s also a good game in its own right.
I agree with all of this... except about AL being a good game. It has a lot of merit, but it is deeply, deeply flawed IMHO.

All the more reason for Dalli to play this game themselves and draw their own conclusions.

Anything you can do about Catrin? Played through a few times but it seems like she's always ending up with her ex which is nbd but the perfectionist in me has me ask in case

There was a poll on the Patreon page for Maya'S clothes, ergo she will be in EP7.

The pool scene of Josy might not happen, as well as many other scenes. It will be up to our own routes what we will see.

DPC itself has written that there will be many branches.
I think, regardless of whether you're on the M&J path or not, you will see that Josy scene. DPC can't really just gloss over what's going on with them because there's always the possibility of solo paths, and so if this is indeed Josy contemplating her situation with Maya in the HOTs pool having been somewhat talked in to moving in with them, then it's important for that purpose of showing players what's going on here.

Some people might not technically be on the Jill path if they haven't been doing the positive interactions, but they still have to see her conversation with Tybalt and her practicing the piano. Some people might not be FWB with Sage but they still saw the break-up scene between her and Chad. This game is like a TV show where it doesn't always follow the lead character and you'll get scenes with the other characters without the lead character present.

When she stopped sucking dick on camera and her attempt at being a mainstream actress didn't really pan out the way she'd hoped. I still get a giggle from her meeting with Stan Lee, though.
You gotta respect her hustle though. She somehow turned the questionable porn fame into a sustainable streaming career at the end of the day.

So, my dumbass is replaying episode 1 and why did Troy even fight the jocks when they came to MC's dorm? Or did they just whoop his ass for fun? or did Troy care just enough that he wouldn't let the jocks take MC's guitar

They didn't come for the guitar. They just stole that as an extra. They came to kick the shit out of Troy.

Is what it looked like to me.

Part of me wonders if Troy not wanting a roommate was his awkward way of trying to protect them from jock bullying, with how far they seem to be going against Troy.
