When Episode 1 was released it had voice acting, even on current episode you can enable Jill intro which she was voiced by a well known Adult Voice Actress. But the public opinion is that her voice doesn't match Jill's personality and aura at all which I agree
Wow, learn something new every day. I remember Jill being voiced in the intro, but no other characters. I wouldn't call the Jill intro voicing "voice acting," though, since it's only the intro.

An intelligent and caring woman hidden by a hint of horniness and a party-girl vibe. As of now (EP7), if going down the fuck buddies route she only implies possible relationship down the road. But no promises about actual relationship and that can be a letdown.
But if played in CHICK route, she implies possible serious relationship and that can be WORRISOME as the MC in this route never said anything about being a rebound guy and Sage in this route maybe unconsciously used the MC as one bcs she pursued the MC after Chad's breakup. Let's hope what she said in CHICK route can be taken at face value. Our CHICK hearts could not take any more heartbreaks

Agreed. I'm sure the actress is good in other things, but in BaDIK, as Jill... the voice is terrible. I'm glad DPC nixed the idea. And I hope he doesn't add voices later on either. I've already formulated the character voices in my mind, so hearing someone else speak as Sage or Quinn or anyone else would just be strange and jarring. I prefer to read my visual novels.

You have only handful who are not only good at acting but can do the lewd scenes too. You really have to be all in to break down and cry about about your family problems in one scene and then scream out, "jizz all over my face MC!" in the next.

That's true. And that's why you see the same four or five actresses doing all of the voiced AVNs. Most VAs with talent don't want to settle for doing porn games. This game is going to be a hard drive hog when it's done. I can only imagine how much extra space would be needed for a fully voiced BaDIK.

Like others have said, the characters all have voices already in my head, but the other problem with voice acting is that customization of the MC's name and special custom names in the lewd scenes disappears if there are voice actors. I, for one, really like the pet names that I come up with for my DIK, CHIK, and Neutral playthroughs. Unless the voice actors are absolutely top notch, as you say, voice acting would just ruin the immersion. Yes, DPC has an ear for music..in particular choosing songs that fit the mood of a scene. His selections are always spot on. And I wouldn't be surprised if DPC took guitar or piano lessons in his youth given the prominence of those instruments in the story. Only way he ever gets made is if more than 1 girl comes forward ( just 1 would be word vs word ) , but that would come at a high price for the girls: #1 they would have to admit to prostitution, #2 they would get expelled, #3 it would go onto their record and may make employment much more difficult and the obvious one, since it would be public, all their family members and friends would find out what they did.
