hm...

i watched the scene again... whoa iam on the shizo-train now too. I watched it over and over again and now iam sure... she is really hallucinating.

her boss sends her home after she heard her talking, and i think its more out of concern than anything else cause Bella could be talking to herself. And there is no reaction to the husband... ok i dont greet people i dont like too, but in this scene there has to be some reaction i think.

And in my job i have to deal with a lot of people with mental issues... some are talking to themself too. And people tend to watch them in a strange way if they do... just like the guy in the scene sitting on the bench.

and than there is the thing that the MC said in ep3 after making out with Bella in the library. "if i had know, i called for help"

yeah fuck me... it fits. Bella got some mental issues. We dont know how she lost her husband, did he just left or is there more to it... but to be left can cause some issues like that easily.

Yeah i will stick to that, iam on the shizo-train for bella now too... and in the locked room she hides maybe a kind of "refugium"
All that is worrisome, more with dev being DPC. He seems to like plot twist going for the worst, putting MC in lose-lose situations. Oh, and he likes MC's LI crispy. All that bad things for MC. So a Bella being coocoo to the point she turned her husband into a imaginary thing after some lost is very possible in a DPC story. A hurt Jill going yandere on us. A Burke forcing Maya and Josy into the menu. All that shit is possible with this dev in some fucked up plot twist. We already know something bad is going to happen if we end with Bella because MC while narrating during the library kiss let us know he regrets it (or something like that). For any man to regret that booty, it must be some very bad shit.

Also, just as a small thought, I always found it a bit unlikely that the kid's room would be on the ground floor. Usually you'll put your kid's room the furthest from the entry of the house as possible in case an intruder comes in.
ok thats something entirely knew to me i have to admit... is that common in the usa or where?

In my Childhood i was growing up in three different houses, and in every single one of them my room was the first next to the entrance. And i cant recall that anybody else i know with kids has decided to go for the room that is furthest away from the entrance for their kids... it just kinda depend on how the room itself is :D

How can I get this scene with sage?
I'm on her path but she only kisses the MS but no BJ.
View attachment 1515267
I think you get that scene if you choose not to tell her about Chad and Troy and you're on her path. There could be other variables as well, but I think that's all it takes.

yeah another good point... but than i dont know what the starting scene in ep8 is for. This very scene has to mean something important... and that Bella is running away from that library too...

but ok, yeah a childloss could fit too. Maybe she lost a child with james, James has left after that. Bella went crazy about it, began to hallucinate, the boss noticed something is off with her cause she was hallucinating her husband and send her home... than she lost the job and started a new one at B&R. And nobody knows about all of that... only the boss at the library, and thats why Bella runs away from it at the date with the MC.

But anywas, the shizo-theory is the best in my book, and it doesnt really matter what is behind the locked door... childloss would of course be the hardest scenario i can imagine for now...
I'm not completely sold on the schizo theory. I've experienced the loss of a child first hand and know how it can affect some women. Of course, going by DPC's previous work, there is a strong possibility of some mental issues considering the psychotic redhead nurse trying to kill Liam and burning MC's house down in Acting Lessons.

Bro legit I wanted to do the exact same thing with the jacket :KEK: I thought how great it would be if the MC had been wearing his jacket and got up, walked right past Tommy and draped it on Heather's shoulders. I only live to cuck Tommy :Kappa:
Dude same. Ever since he basically invited MC to walk in on his naked girlfriend it's been go time. Then he was dumb enough to try to fight MC after he knows MC literally mollywhopped THE WHOLE ALPHA FRAT and watched Caleb get beat the fuck up by him. Tommy is an idiot plain and simple.

I've been pretty convinced of the child theory too because of the stool in particular, but it kind of makes sense that Bella might have turned that room into some kind of weird James shrine or refugium or whatever (I assume that's some kind of technical term I don't know).

I really need to replay Bella's path but I seem to recall from the last time these discussions came up that Jill was surprised to hear from the MC that Bella had locked that door. It's kind of impossible for me to believe that Jill wouldn't know about Bella having a kid that died, and if that was the kid's room, why would she be surprised that Bella is keeping it off limits? It might be more likely that before Bella locked it, it was just a normal room, that Bella has transformed into something more sinister. That is also consistent with what some people believe we've seen under the door, i.e. the boots. There could be a mannequin in there that Bella has set up to dress in James' clothes or something equally crazy.

Also, just as a small thought, I always found it a bit unlikely that the kid's room would be on the ground floor. Usually you'll put your kid's room the furthest from the entry of the house as possible in case an intruder comes in.

Ultimately though none of this accounts for the foot stool so I dunno :WaitWhat:
It's not just a foot stool though. There's also a mirror there that's at a child's height. I have a mirror placed in my bathroom at a similar height so my children can see what they're doing when they brush their teeth

This is Jill's reaction to Bella/MC if you haven't been pursuing her. More shock than anything else.

And this is Jill's reaction to Bella/MC while you've also been pursuing her. Quite sad and heartbroken.

I was waiting someone commenting on how bad was that Bella scene at the begining. Not only it was short but James lost any interest for me as a character. It was a one dimensional guy from a porn story. His only goal seemed to have sex with his wife. Now personally i can understand that, if your wife is Bella... but still... if you compare that with the tension achieved with Chad being blackmailed or the emotional insight we get from Quinn and Jill's childhoods... well its totally lame.
Yeah, can't disagree - it was the worst intro compared to others.

But still we got a little info.
1. Bella was living in B&R city (don't know how to name it correctly) long before BaDIK story starts. Yep, we knew it before but now we got to see her previous employment and Hilda. Also we can see her behavior towards work didn't change much.
2. James being able to pick her up from work in the middle of the day. I had suspicions before that James is a military dude and probably MIA - DPC just threw in some more firewood. Especially the color of his shirt.

Adding to the theories. Maybe there was an accident, the husband died and a pregnant Bella lost her baby. With the crash she hits her head or something or maybe by pure post-trauma she started "seeing" her dead husband because she was in denial or whatever. Maybe I'm stretching this too much. I kinda remember a guy MC saw for a sec dressed as military once in Bella's house. Maybe he's just MIA and dev is just making stuff with multi potential variables so we keep guessing. It's known he likes to mess with players. :KEK:

I'll be very surprised if Bella turns out to be crazy, the only times we've seen her lose control of her emotions were when she was thinking of people dear to her (like lashing out on students in the library when thinking about MC, or hitting Tybalt in the face with the tennis ball), the way she reacts to that damn door and when approaching the library during the date scream of trauma for sure, but I honestly haven't seen any craziness in her for now.
But then again, DPC might actually make her crazy just for the lulz and shock factor.

Bro your parents wanted you to be kidnapped :KEK: Nah just kidding, I could be wrong about how common it is but growing up I always got the room towards the middle of the house as long as it didn't face the street. Where I'm from usually anything larger than a two-bedroom will have the guest room towards the front of the house like you're describing, in a house the size of Bella's with multiple floors I'd expect the same. I could definitely be wrong about my presumption but where that room is situated and with the space it's given it looks more like a guest room to me, and again I tend to think that's the case because from memory I believe Jill seemed surprised when she heard that that room had been locked. If it'd been a kid's room it seems to me she'd be more understanding of Bella not wanting people inside it.

I'm not completely sold on the schizo theory. I've experienced the loss of a child first hand and know how it can affect some women. Jesus christ man I'm so sorry, how could you just slip a personal child death into your post like that. I'm gonna cry :KEK:

It shits me that someone like Tommy can get a great girl like Heather which I've seen all too often. So I'll whoop and cuck him when I can, it's for everyone's good :Kappa:(y)

Bro it's honestly been a fucking minute since I've played Bella's route but yeah if it's stool + mirror I don't see how there's not a kid involved. Which means the kid needs a room, which means that room is the kid's room. But I still can't square it with the fact that Jill doesn't appear to know about the kid, unless she doesn't want to bring it up for some reason :WaitWhat: I just dunno.

Was the last version 0.7.2? I can't redownload the entire game at 20GB so I'm wondering if I can just patch it.

We got a really important piece of information. He likes to sail, he did it once and wanted to do it again.
Thats why Bella thinks he is alive, he is lost at sea (probably alive in an island).
Funny thing, when i read that Bella thought he husband was alive i thought: she is crazy, or he was a military man or he got lost at nature, probably sea. I thought everyone off them was to crazy so i leave it, but the first one seemed for me more reasonable. Now i am sure he got lost at sea. So... no crazy Bella, no axe murderer. Thats what i thought anyway

It happened years ago man. At some point, ya gotta talk about it and just be real. Otherwise, it festers and eats at you from the inside (Hence Bella).

It shits me that someone like Tommy can get a great girl like Heather which I've seen all too often. So I'll whoop and cuck him when I can, it's for everyone's good :Kappa:(y)
Don't get me wrong though, Tommy has some cool moments like the bar scene and when he's giving Derek shit after the nursing home visit if you don't fuck Jade. That scene is hilarious to watch. He has some redeeming qualities but then again, I tend to see the best in people (I'm a Quinn fan after all). That being said, I'd totally smash Heather on his bed and wipe my nut on his pillow.

Maybe Bella hasn't opened up to Jill about it. A few people assume the bedroom scene where Bella and Jill have a little spat is pertaining to something that happened between Bella, Jill and James but I think it may have been something that happened between Bella and Jill. I don't think Jill has any insight on what Bella is really going through because Bella is quiet and closed to everyone. She just shows she cares about Jill and now MC, however, she's the type that gives advice but doesn't want to open up about her own issues.
