Sage's reaction to being dumped in episode 8 is almost too good to be credible. Not only does she take the rejection well, but she leaves the door open to potentially restarting a relationship later. The caveat that she won't wait for MC just about let's her keep some of her self-respect, I suppose, but it's still hard seeing Sage in such a weak position, and it's even harder to believe there'd be many girls in real life who would be quite so cool in the same circumstances. It made me think of the way Sage just keeps flirting with MC on some playthroughs, despite being rejected a lot, way past the point where someone as attractive as her would push it. The overriding impression for me from both situations was of being overly aware of the Hand of DPC, keeping possible lines open for the rest of the story, rather than making the story itself believable. Overall I really like Sage in spite of all this, but sometimes I don't think she's well served by the way DPC makes her act.
actually attractive girls just put it down to dudes being Gay, if she is proven that the dude is not gay even the most attractive woman in the world will doubt herself and actually go on a full offensive no bars holds to get the dude!
do pay attention she will however test how sexy she is by doing other dudes rising up her dopamine levels before going for what she perceives as a prize so the only thing that is not credible in the situation you describe is she not fucking Anthony or Magnar or Caleb before returning to the persecution of the MC! (which is actually what she did with a DIK MC while she was trying to hound down Chad for intimacy)!
besides she went trough the same with Chad and if you did not told her Chad is gay she is just repeating old habits, if you told her however and she as confirmation this new dude is not gay it does play heavily into her selfsteem!
So dude you are miss reading the situation, she being unable to get the MC means she wants him even more, particulary if you have been giving it on a regular basis to a few of her sisters and right now Josy and Maya are her sisters so even a Chick MC is a target!
although if the MC continues to put her down... lets just say her "love" and "friendship" for the MC will go down in flames and hell as no fury like a spitted woman!
But the overall situation? She is probably just repeating her same old patterns that she used to erode Chad down into becoming her boyfriend, she probably does not even realise her action patterns... which is wierd and does make her a very good caracther since as i stated in another post she does exactly the same thing as Jade and Stephen for totally opposite reasons so same modus operandi for diferent values!
in many ways she uses the same tactics to get both the MC and Chad or to get Sex but with diferent Li or targets...

Unfortunately, the MC character himself is not as smart as the player. He does not draw such conclusions. In the biography in the phone, he simply records facts and asks questions, but never draws conclusions. If he was as smart as you say, he would have realized long ago that Sage is Jade's daughter.
