You are forgetting some things in your reflections. Pete and Monica have been married for a long time. We learn that in EP2. Ergo, it is likely that Josy and Tommy were still children. Josy is a daddy's girl and felt neglected by her father. She developed a hatred for Monica and Tommy.

I assume that's why Pete sent Josy to live with her mother. In the EP4 flashback, we learn that Josy went to another high school where she met Maya and Derek. But she wants to live with her father and spends the last year of high school with her father. She can decide that herself because she's already 18 by then. How do I know that? She's having sex with Maya, and in BaDIK, sex is only 18 and up, so we shouldn't forget that Maya was visiting Josy, which wouldn't have been necessary if they were still in the same high school.

So Tommy only met Josy as a child or young teenager. Probably only briefly, because Josy then lived with her mother for the time being. It's unlikely that Tommy had a crush on Josy, because they just didn't spend enough time together, and in the little time they did spend together, they will have been fighting for the most part.

Also, in EP2 Josy says to the MC that he now knows what you've been going through for years with Tommy.

I rather suspect that Tommy took his brother role too seriously and sabotaged Josy's dates or beat up the guys who got too close to Josy. Josy said herself that if Tommy knew she was dating the MC, Tommy would beat up the MC and Tommy would have the shortest fuse ever. But in EP6, the MC gets to slow Tommy down and put him in his place.

Even if they meet as young kids there could be attrection as they grow, I wrote in the comment that I was close to having the same situation as Tommy as a kid.

We played through Season 2, and just as we were finishing the game came the interlude, and thus Zoey's return.
And then I said to myself Holy shit! I delayed as long as possible to start this part of the game, because after having also played "Acting Lessons", I feared... How to say that... a very dirty plot twist.
But my girlfriend not helping me at all to wait very long, we finally jumped on it.
And here we are. I told my girlfriend, you'll see! You'll see that Dr PinCake again spawned something like "an elephant cleans a china shop"
And damn! Holy shit, sometimes I wish I was wrong. I said a while ago here that she would graduate and be ready to go to college. Holy shit, I can't believe it! It's almost my own nightmare that I'm reliving. And of course, we know that there is at least one place available after Mona's departure (still mysterious by the way)
I can't deny that we're waiting for the sequel with some... anticipation?
And now my girlfriend can't stop talking about it even in bed. Damn Dr PinkCake you are pissing off! But don't change a thing because we love you!

I think it is not so good if the MC is seen as a tiger. Tigers are loners. Who is a tiger in this game? Vinny. He has the tiger tattoo on his right hand.

It's much better if the MC is called a lion at some point. And why? Rusty is the lion in the house until the Mansion is destroyed. He even has a picture of a male lion on the wall. Behind the lion, by the way, is a lioness. What's also very striking is that it's an old and white lion. MC becomes the DIK president.

Joining midterm, so before the spring semester starts is usually no problem, the student is required to produce the work of the first semester on their own and show the results to their respective teachers. So yea...the timing of Zoey coming back now is no coincidence.

Well, I don't know where you're from, so I can't say. In the USA they don't all work the same way, and neither does where I come from. But the most important thing to remember is that this is a game, therefore a fantasy (Even if this fantasy seems familiar, as far as I'm concerned)

Well, I don't know where you're from, so I can't say. In the USA they don't all work the same way, and neither does where I come from. But the most important thing to remember is that this is a game, therefore a fantasy (Even if this fantasy seems familiar, as far as I'm concerned)

Its not the first time Jill has failed to consider another viewpoint. The Chad incident is another plot point for her. Like I said earlier, her defining character trait is that she believes whatever action she takes with her relationship w/Fuckface is the right one. Or at least comes from right place. Her solution to a friend being bullied is to tell someone and get help because that's what she would want done for her.

Is she flawed? Yes. What's the saying...."the road to hell is paved with good intentions"

DPC has established that she has an imperfect view of relationships through small reveals, such as the date with Rusty, the short backstory with her parents (her closest relationship is with her sister), the first date (she's not particularly close with her extended family and I suspect she's not altogther THAT close with her parents.

I've never been bothered by Jill reporting the Chad incident. All she knew at the time was that the jocks had repeatedly assaulted the MC and he refused to report it OR tell her why he wouldn't. She knew that she might be doing the wrong thing by going over her head (that's why she tried so hard to convince him to do something first), but she couldn't take the risk of ignoring the problem if it turned out that the MC was wrong and he really did need the help.

People talk about how Jill was being naive in that instance because DPC frames it that way, but I think her logic is spot on. And I'll note that 5 episodes later the decision has still been nothing but good for the MC.

Chalk this one up to video game logic. DPC clearly isn't making some kind of Harem game so there has to definitive choices, even if their real world logic doesnt hold up

Sure, but in this case the video game logic doesn't hold up either. It's not a dilemma if only one option has negative consequences.

What happened was she surprise visited MC for a picnic, MC told he has promised to go to Sage, Jill was a bit disappointed but understood.... Nothing to blame her for so far right? I don't see any actions that are so bad....

The problem is that people try to explain all this as being Jill's character flaw.... While it really is just the same as in real life that one day you overslept a car drove into your workplace and you would have died if you were there...
Falling in love is not the same as somebody's actions, actions may be defined by falling in love but that's pretty much it.
Jill's path just has alot no-go's while Sage's path is the most tolerant path of all.... Their paths in a way represent their characters, one is more timid and uncertain while the other clearly knows what she wants and how to get it....
Who would consider somebody not falling in love with you, as a character flaw?

If Jill had been lukewarm on the MC prior to her impromptu picnic I'd agree with you. But we all saw that Jill was anything but. She was extremely interested in the MC... until he picked tending to Sage over going on a picnic with her. At that point Jill's interest completely died out.

That's what pushes this incident over the cliff for me. I get why Jill's path requires the MC go on that picnic with her, but I don't understand why she never tries to set up another picnic when the MC has free time. Even if we completely buy in to the Tybalt blackmail nonsense and think she's unwilling to risk his well being a second time, once he sneaks into her room at night and makes it clear he isn't going to drop the matter she should have tried to pick up where they left off.

Instead, she sends him away and the path remains closed. To me, that makes it clear that this isn't just a case of Jill missing out on the key ingredients to continue the romance, but rather a case of Jill outright rejecting the MC, purely because he wouldn't back out of helping a sick friend.

But the previous 18 years of your life he never came across any type of free furniture like that for his own house (not trying to mock them about their home, just stating the obvious).

I still don't see a character flaw in that, sometimes you decide not to pursue somebody anymore, in Jill's case it might have been the fact she tried to do a nice thing and it didn't work out.... So end of story for her, it's her right to decide to pursue anyone or not... The MC can make his choices too.... Stop the train of thought Jill has to follow a protocol to be available at all time... It's the players that say Jill blames us for taking care of Sage, that stupid rich girl has to wait till i decide...

Even if you did everything right, Jill will tell the MC she was always thinking of him but she still doesn't know if that's the same for him.... And be fair.... MC has probably been fooling around with all LI's and perhaps even basicly half the female population of the campus....
She most likely had a very good reason to drop the idea of getting together with MC...
