It's clear DPC is just doing his thing. His story doesn't care about all the people playing it, it will simply cater to people that have similar tastes to him. His tastes are fairly vanilla, and those looking for something a little more fringe don't rate the game highly. Those of us who don't necessarily want to see Sage pissing down the mc throat are most likely gonna be spared that.

When DPC did AL, he wrote what he wanted to write. It caused him a lot of grief from some people who didn't like the direction it took, others thought it was absolutely fantastic, and in the end he made a name for himself and his next game was highly anticipated. He may have tweaked some minor details based on feedback (like the clothing certain characters wear), but I doubt he's scouring the forums looking for what to do next.

If you're a developer who likes certain kinks, do those kinks, because you'll do them well, you'll have your fan base. And if there are things you don't wanna see, don't add them to the game, because you'll hate it yourself.
