In general I don't like polls but some real stupid polls like this one is actually beneficial to get a quick glimpse into your fanbase... which did not start now but several years before so getting worked up over horndog replies on polls should be expected by now...

What is the spoiler of the Halloween costume? What difference does it make if we find out what costume Maya or Bella is wearing before the game?

From the poll results I'm seeing on Patreon so far, it looks like the patron base is more or less split between not minding if costumes are spoiled and wanting to avoid costume spoils. Given that I'm sure they're going to be sexy, I can understand why people might not want to see them ahead of time. For my part, I'm fine either way. DPC has so many patrons now, though, that I understand why he wants to take our collective pulse before proceeding. The Halloween party is a big, long-anticipated event. Plenty of people will want to go into the new episode cold, letting it all unfold for the first time when it gets released.

I thought this was common knowledge. I think it was on reddit i saw the first post a couple years ago. First there were comments about if it meant something, then someone linked to the asset you linked and it devolved into a deluge of other titles that either used the house exterior or the interior from the asset.

Another time it was brought up when people were trying to fit all the rooms we have seen with the size from the exterior view, and failed, since the inside of the DIK house is still too big to fit this exterior and people mentioned is the Amityville house and that become a discussion again. Similar threads every now and then.

I had never even heard of the Amityville stories before I saw a post of this kind before. Always cool though with references and what else is hidden in plain view.

Marley beat me to it, but I usually post a few days after it starts anyway so we can get a feel for how the votes are tallying. Because this one is going for 2 weeks, I'll probably post the trends next week.

He might have a problem with the previews because the non-Halloween costume previews might give away too much of the story and DPC is using the Halloween costumes as an excuse.

Part of the Halloween fun is finding out what the girls are wearing for the party. So it would be a slight spoiler to tell us now. We already know what Riona is wearing and I've had trouble sleeping ever since that spoiler aired.

Here are the poll result for now. I’m surprised by a couple of things:

- Many people don’t want to see any costumes spoilers. Well, it’s kind of mixed… I kinda get this, not wanting to get spoiled by the costumes. I’m on the fence about this.
- Some people would rather see special renders than costume spoilers Hell no! Who cares about those! You get to see those once, in the pack quest and that’s it! It says nothing about the story!!!
- The majority want previews of girls rather guys. Good! If it was the opposite, then that would have worried me.
- They would rather have previews of Side Girls than Main girls… Interesting I’m not opposed to see more Quinn, Camilla, Lily, Zoey and Envy. But I would like a Maya and Josy preview first.
- They would prefer to see Lewd and story scenes rather than Environement. I’m OK with that.

The poll will last two weeks, we’ll see how it goes.

I'm not sure what route I'll be taking on some of this, but one thing is for sure. I DO NOT want to see Halloween costume spoilers.

First, I want to be surprised by them. And second, having seen what DPC will be using for Riona, I don't want to see weeks of people complaining about how horrible someone's costume is when a preview is released, only to go through the same exact discussion when Episode 9 is released. If I have to suffer that, I'd rather do it once.
