As far as I know, it's an Android port issue. You can't fix it. But you may try different port. Some pages ago, one dude posted a link to his own fresh port version.

Yeah, also Quinn's "food menu" doesn't work, the first two work fine (The Riona and Camilla gloryhole) and the other events (Sarah at the DIKs party, visit Quinn, etc), even if you buy them, the game doesn't register them and you can't select those options

Also, about the wristband, I don't really remember MC wearing it, but it's beside the point. Could it be that this wristband was a gift from his father Neil? Did we ever see his dad wear it, during flashbacks with Lynette maybe?

During episode 4, you have the option of staying with Derek rather than Isabella and Sage. While doing so, a man stands in the corridor staring at a Chess club poster. He'll ask your opinion on whether he should join or not. Assuming you tell him to join the scene will take place during episode 8 as you showcased.
