Maya's lines from if don't get the papers your what I've read she like well we try to Josy there no way Josy should be ok with that. I don't think people are to harsh on Maya for the victim cards considering getting the papers the solution for the loan ends up being so simple. Maya did have some good moments this ep but Josy was 100% right when she it always about your problems. Now that at least when favoring one girl the throuple coming to end it a chance to see how strong each girl really is.
Nobody knew it would be easy with paperwork. Patrick deceived her with this loan, and Maya knows nothing about loan agreements. In fact, this loan was a convenient scheme for Patrick with a corrupt odor.
So for me giving Maya all the shit for this loan is like blaming the girl for being raped because she had too short skirt.

A lot of people guess the loan was a bluff by Patrick and turn out to be the case. I don't blame Maya for not knowing how to handle it at her age but where I do blame her is going for a Jack and the beanstalk kind of answer right out of the gate and at a point when she had time to think.

Hey, I'm not sure if having a semi-loving relationship with Riona is going to be developed in episode 11. It so happened that in my first and main playthrough, Tremolo has a relationship with Sage, so I played episode 11 from that perspective. However, Riona stayed at home for the entire episode. The only interaction with her is to send a message around the end of the episode. I also have a second playthrough where I tried to build a relationship with Riona, but I'm stuck on episode 9 and so far I'm too lazy to read it all over again.
Understood, with my jill route and my second playthrough with maya/josy, i didn't fuck riona so i dunno if it changed something i episode 11. (i've completed both route to the end of the episode)
I didn't have the courage to start another route other than maybe a Sage for now one but it's a long way to go if i start from the begining.
When on Quinn's route MC learns what really happened to Riona and he sends her an extra text message telling her he knows it. That is the only difference.
MC doesn't talk to Riona at all in this episode.
Thanks for the information, i don't want to play a complete run just for that.
The fact that she was considering running away was a direct result of her putting herself aside for Maya. She had pinned so much hope on being there together with her at college and it was looking like it wasn't happening and this was after who knows how long where she been supporting Maya through this issue with Patrick and probably also being there for her because of Helen. So she was thinking of impulsively doing something to escape it all because it was becoming too much for her at the time and the MC was also something impulsive; an easy escape from it all by being with him. But when she reunited with Maya, much of that went away when she remembered how much Maya means to her and how much she wants to be there for her and help her.

But those thoughts of the MC being a convenient escape have always remained with her and that's what it's always been for her; an obsession because of the stress of the situation she was in. But now with that situation resolved, she's confused about her feelings for him and for Maya are because she doesn't know what's lost and what's genuine anymore and that's what we're (hopefully) going to see be explored next.
Nice way to summarize it. I just want to save the trouple but i don't have much hope with this episode 11. This maya and josy route was disappointing on more than once occasion. DPC is forcing us to choose and i don't like it, it doesn't make sense to me.

What specific episode did she behave this way? Let's try to figure it out.
I wathced Jack and the beanstalk too long ago, can sure what you mean
from the very start with ep1, Josy isn't even there at that point and won't be for at least another week. Sure that isn't a long time but it better then nothing yet she put all her faith in joining a sorority to save her to make it worse ep11 solve it in one night added there some other factors too

Such determination in solving her problems is enviable. But being in an emotionally vulnerable position, Maya easily succumbed to Quinn's prank (which by the way was not a prank, free tuition was real through Burke's bed). Quinn probably denied Maya from it, realizing later that she was not restaurant material, but still used it as a dirty joke. Wasn't the best of her ideas, the restaurant closed because of it :ROFLMAO:

Important thing to note about Maya and Josy is that they are still freshman, straight out of highschool. It shouldn't be surprising that they can seem immature when compared with Jill/Sage who are in their last year (not sure about Jill) or Bella who is twice their age. It shouldn't be a surprise that those characters have better defined goals and personalities, a lot of freshman don't know what they want to do about themselves and their lives.
I feel Josy's arc works well for some ppl (albeit i did not play her route) and that's the beauty of this game, that you have varied deep characters which will speak to different ppl.

if she didn't put all her eggs in one basket would had made her look better to me anyway, thankful as Sage and a wise crazy simp once said Josy was the mastermind that got it done;)

Sage is the only one (relevant) that is graduating. Jill started her third year and will have another one.

Though... it doesnt really matter for the game.

And just for the sake of it, Sage is 22, Jill 21. Josy, Maya, MC are 19.

But as i said, not really important, the game will not go on after the first semester anyways, Most likely Spring Break will be the end.

Besides... immature age related? Is not a age thing. I knew people who were 14 and more mature than people at the age of 40. In that regard, age doesnt mean shit and never will.

And she almost ratted out MC to Sage when she almost let slip where she got the idea from. Girl should be able to keep her mouth shut. :p

Obviously maturity is impacted by other things than age, but age plays a part here. Maturity is highly impacted by previous life experiences, so the more rocky childhood you've had the more mature you'll turn out (that's another simplification, coz every trauma can develop you in multiple directions, but I'm trying to keep it simple). If we take 19 yo Quinn vs 19 yo J/M for sure Quinn would handle her shit better, but that's the thing I've had in mind.
If I were to compare maturity of Maya vs Josy id it depends on aspect which you compare them in, but overall id favor Maya coz she's got her goals clearly set, but her goals come from what I've surfaced earlier - tough childhood. If you take Josy you'll get an easy going girl, who never had too much spotlight, but everyone liked her, she had a happy life w/o many troubles (iirc the divorce thing happens shortly before story of the game), so it's not surprising that when problems start piling up (like aforementioned divorce) she doesn't know how to handle them.
My post was a generalization and included this unspoken assessment.
