What's to argue about? Some people just can't play a game without immersive themselves with MC so they don't understand female MC. Other who don't immerse so much can play it as an observers. All female MC's games are aimed for normal heterosexual guys and they are quite popular. Just different perspective.

Well don't take it too hard on you, it's just that there are things that aren't easy to understand for others, for example think about fetishes for a second, one person may have a foot fetish and another one will call it gross, the one that doesn't have the fetish will never understand the one who has it. The most that you can do is just to respect other people opinnions and that's it.

I have played games with both female and male MC's, personally I prefer having a male MC however I can understand that others like to be the female MC, but someone who only plays games that he is a male MC would find it hard to understand. The optimal thing in those situations is just respect each other and don't try to continue the argument.

I prefer male MCs too. I'd agree with the example if it was a fetish situation. But it's not. It's as simple as fapping to regular porn. It ain't a "2 + 2 = 5 sometimes" kind of scenario. It's one that we all understand.

That's the easiest way to describe it, is that it's the equivalent to watching porn. I'm fapping to the sexy pic. Not the fact that she's seducing the man. That's what I want them to understand. It's a concept we all understand. I'm not playing the game traditionally.

The problem is some ppl who immersed themselves too much in the game get too agitated and doesn't know when to detach themselves when they are out of the game and get keyboard rage , in many cases calling others names.

This argument is not about NOT understanding other ppl pt of view ... its about NOT respecting other ppl.

If playing a female protagonist make you feel like a gay , thats the way u roll , I understand , I think everyone does too , thats your issue , nobody say you can't feel like a gay when u play a female protagonist. Absolutely nobody.

BUT That doesn't make give you the right to call everyone who CAN play female protagonist a homosexual gay. See the diff?

The best option when you have a patreon is just ask your supporters, it's not hard. If his supporters prefer that he continues with a male MC what's so hard about it?, if he wants to have the MC being taken advantage of so much then he should just add perverted females to the game.

3) I want to be able to choose between genders at the start of the game

I want to clarify here that option 3 doesn't mean "just magically add twice as much content into the game in the same amount of development time". While the map, the characters and most gameplay mechanics like crafting will stay the same regardless of main character's gender, the events will obviously be unique. Which means half of the time we could've spent on Kate's story and events will be spent on another character instead. So while the number of ALL events will stay the same, this number WILL be divided between two main characters. Are you sure you want this?

He hasn't lost more than 20 patrons (less than 1%) since the release of 0.13 though.

I call bullshit. He lost 513 patrons since the release of 0.13 and the number of still active patrons keep plummeting on a daily basis.

I don't think that a female mc game is bad or something, but these ero games are usually played by hetero-males that want to play an alpha-male mc that owns every woman/girl he sees. So this FMC is only going to narrow the player pool.

Well, DS also should know this as he/she is a veteran game developer. Thus DS must have something in mind like maybe this was DS's dreamwork ? Or maybe there are some juicy patrons that pay nice for a FMC ???

Do you have the required points? You need atleast 100. You can get more by massaging Alice when she's sunbathing.
