Started a new game - now whenever I load (to pick another choice) my MC name changes to persistent.y ... and changes it retro-active for all savegames.
Any fix for this?

This wasn't mentioned in the change log or developer notes, but was this game compressed? Version 0.5 was over 3gb in size, but version 0.6 total size is under 1gb.

I believe it was the change in image type used...

We changed formats. Went form png to webm. no drop in quality, and much smaller size

No. Imo it's like seasoning. There was originally supposed a few in the prequel shorts but sadly life happens.
