Does it really matter at this point if it's up to date? The game will never be finished there is no point in playing it.

Well to each their own. I already finished all the content the game has so I don't have any interest in it anymore since it will never be finished.

A very abrupt end for a very cool project that was really close to completion. What makes me disappointed even more was that I was in contact with the dev to translate it to french and was 50% done ... but oh well fml

I didn't say anything at the time because I didn't want to pile it on when he was already upset, but honestly, making anything on the internet and hoping it doesn't get pirated is like standing outside in the pouring rain and hoping you don't get soaked - you can scream and protest all you want but it's gonna happen regardless.

Shame to see it end when it was clearly approaching that final release, it was definitely one of the good ones, but it is what it is. If this is how he's going to react to how things are on the vicious and cutthroat world of the internet, then for the sake of their own sanity, not being involved in further projects like these may be for the best.

I recall he seemed pretty fed-up on the discord right after the leak, but I wasn't expecting him to take drastic actions like cancelling everything. Moreover, considering he was on the F95's thread since day 1, he seemed fine with the community here until that point.

But as you said, it's what it is, and nothing will change this, unfortunately. It is a shame, considering the game itself was a nice one with amazing models, animations and a simple, yet entertaining story to carry everything.

PS: ankhtar can you confirm that he took out the server on discord ? Or did he just block me ?

I had left a few days ago, but I tried to rejoin just now and it tells me it's not a valid server, so yes, I can only assume it's also gone. He's probably taking down everything related to the game.

Guess it’s official now, was really hoping there would’ve been a follow up statement or anything but seeing as the discord server is gone now it’s over. Really sad to see this game end and so abruptly for that matter. Was one of my favorites hopefully it inspires another dev to make a similar sort of game, the models were really good.

But I think it's unfair to those who pay for the game, and to the developer,
it discourages both, why pay for something if we can play it for free at the same time as those who pay for it?
Going out on sites like this at the same time, the developer can lose many supporters.
I will say what I would think fair. We know that many developers put their games here, whether they like it or not, this is a good place to get patrons, and for your games to become popular, and reach many more people than being alone in the patreon.
If it weren't for this, I would never know that these types of games existed, and even if I ran into one, I would never know so many games, as well as those who make them.

it's the developer himself who posts his game here, a month late compared to patreon if I'm not mistaken,
It seems that he proposed that if nobody leaked, he would bring the game here every month, and that is how it is, at least as far as I know and read on his page.
I think it's fair to the developer and who pays for early access.
I wouldn't mind waiting a month longer to play a free game, and if I can't wait, then let me pay to get access to the game at launch.
If all the developers did that, and the fans respected that rule, everyone would win,
and we wouldn’t have developers upset and abandoning their games due to lack of motivation and lack of consideration for him and his patrons.
I think that even site administrators should have this kind of conversation with the developers.
We’ve already lost a lot of games, for a variety of reasons, probably these leaks could be one of them,
and today we lost one more, one that I was really enjoying.
I don't know, have you ever wondered if all the developers lost the desire to make their games? After all, nobody works for free.
It is something to think about personally.

Mika is the name of the shopkeeper...... if you've played a classicl like Haramase simulator then you'll know how to trigger that event. It's quality.
I have a horrible suspicion that the three teachers are triggered either by doing those horrible sliding puzzles in the phone practice app or through a hidden timed event that happens on certain days... but I really don't know. I just found this game this update and am very impressed with it's quality.

Thanks ya I didn't expect the shopkeeper to be like the haramase simulator. I also turned the sliding puzzles off so not really sure if I wana put too much time into doing it to get to see if it will trigger those events. Ya I find the quality to be really good too

"It's the internet/piracy" is selfish bullshit. Anybody saying that is the reason we can't have nice things. When the dev is nice enough to give you all the stuff free on a delay, you just pick it up a week late. Be a decent human being, ye salty scallywags. Even real pirates worked with those who surrendered, because that's just good business. It's when the dev is unwitting or an asshole that you rob him blind while acknowledging that you're pirates, and this is what you do. You work with the guys who try to work with you.

Kinda weird how he took everything down but he hasn't made any announcement on patreon yet. People will probably keep pledging even though the dev isn't working on the game anymore
