I don't think he was truly defending the developer, but more like criticize him in the most neutral stand point
He aren't wrong that the developer would be very upset that his update to patreon fans being leaked too early and feel betrayed by the toxic people who have done that act, but the way he's react and throwing tantrum and later gave up the entire game project and even his career because of that...well, that was extremely unreasonable and even more toxic than the guy who's leaking the game and the one download it for free

In the off chance someone picks this project back up, I saved the Character Cards in case someone ever needs them again. Now before someone asks I am not myself picking this project up. I have 0 experience with Ren'Py and have my hands full with my own game. But things change. Maybe one day I'll learn Ren'Py and see if there's anything I can do here. MAYBE.

Just read the post on Patreon and...WOAH, what an asshole with his blaming on the site for leaking the update early instead of have some words to the Mod and people to not doing it in the future.

This is a pirate site first and foremost, some devs use it for marketing and so on, but as soon as someone leaks an update it will be posted here.

Not gonna lie I actually was enjoying this game Blaire was a treasure and needed to be protected at all costs and Raven was the big titty goth GF we all want but never are gonna get... I hope someone will remake this game and not BTFO like this dev did also I feel bad for anyone backing this clown as they must feel like they have been bamboozled and bilked of their money.

I'd say the toxic parts of this site are the ones who go into a thread that's tagged something that they don't like and complain about it, the ones who give devs who have stated that they're just starting a hard time for things that it can take practice/experience to do well (engrish, not the best animations, etc); and I mean the ones that are rude about it, not constructively saying "this needs improovement", and sometimes people just get super salty about stuff and go off. Mostly the same kinda problems you'd have anywhere.

I didn't, Chrys himself uploaded them on his Patreon after he ranted about F95. I just saved them for future use
