I started following this thread like a year ago, how tf has this game made so little progress in so much time?? 
For me fertile trait makes difference on change of size of offspring. I have spent lots of time on it. May be some interactive effects are hidden in this game too.

That's how Patreon works. The more money a game makes, the slower progress becomes.

Recently, I don't like that the list of changes in the update doesn't include all the fixes and additions. For example, we were not told about, 2 new hybrids (foxcow, angelfox), fixes for old scenes, adding accessories for cows, and so on. What was added to the 0.740 build and we were not told about it?

Uuuuhm Subverse?
This game was given a lot of money at the start and it re-paid off before coming out in the early alpha (alpha is when there is a basis for the game but a lot of things are still missing), and even though there was a KickStarter and not Patreon, it does not change the essence.
And then it depends on the developer, whether he is honest or ready to deceive fans or finish the game.
If to judge by BotN the game in my opinion is completed on somewhere on 45-50% + still over time will add content.
But now the developer is making the main part of the game and it can not but please... only the creation of content quests in chunks is already slow.

I wouldn't be surprised if some effects are hidden. It doesn't really sound logical that the fertile trait would effect offspring size but I'll test it out myself.

Why do so many big devs not work with others? This game has obviously become to large for one person to maintain and update. Is it because they are greedy, too proud, or to embarrassed to ask others for help on a pornographic game? Its not like you have to sit next to another person to work together on a game these days. They could simply work online.

The situation with breeding season probably scared the guy into working alone, especially since he's making a game in the same genre. And to be honest it would scare me into working alone as well. That was such a messy situation that killed years of work, and I wouldn't want to risk something like that on my passion project.

Officially, it is to avoid the Breeder Game Curse - the best example being the original, which was called Breeding Season or something. Some farming/monstergirl breeding game that raked in gigantic amounts of money and decided to spend it all on paying for a gigantic staff.
This was a mistake, because if you know the psyche profile of the typical indie game developer, well, imagine two emotionally and socially stunted narcissists together in the same room. Picturing that? Good - Now imagine twenty of them. The sheer mass of all the egos involved became enough to collapse a gas giant into a neutron star, so naturally the entire thing quickly fell apart because everyone was trying to take credit for everything and all of them were claiming that their cut of the money faucet wasn't big enough. And if that doesn't sound bad enough, just wait... because eventually lawyers got involved. H.P.Lovecraft couldn't have written a better horror story or created more loathsome monsters.
So as a response to this the unofficial policy ever since then is that if you've got a game with the name "Breeder" in the title you should just let one person work on it and fuck bringing in anyone to help with anything lest "The Curse" come to strike them down as well.
That this also makes fat bank for that one person (since they don't have to share any of the money with anyone else) is just a coincidence... or so we're told.

I hate the fact that now that DH is trying to figure out how to make the game flow with an actual god damn story and progression system aside from the entire game just being an animation viewer, he now deserves to be lynched because he's not churning out new animations and Nephelym types every month.
I get it. "Hur dur, Patreon bad." I myself have immediately judged games based upon their Patreon origin. However, this guy has proved that he's actually committed in making this game, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

I know you're being sarcastic, but that is how a lot of people around here legitimately feel.
I've been following this game for about a year, now. I've seen 1 new sex animation.

Why would you even want to update? No new nephs, sex positions or gameplay content other than the "jump through hoops to even start playing" quests have been in added in something like three consecutive updates.
I'm still running the version back from May and I've got all the same actual content as the newest version and none of the bullshit. Start game, immediately go out and start fucking things. It's great!
Not. It's okay. There are no errors. The problem is in the comp.
