Haven't played this in a while, and while the new UI is fine in the style sense, as an actual UI its terrible at giving info that was in the old versions. No way to see player stats anymore unless you're in the breeding pen. Can't see how much favor you'll get for an ascension or how much favor you currently have at paws spots without going into your inventory. No option to have currency in the HUD. Can't see world levels at all or how much a released creature will be worth.

As for new game mechanics, the new hard limit on sex sessions is an awful change for the PC breeder who has been incredibly hard nerfed to what appears to be a max of 2(Why do I have a smaller max than creatures with less than even half my stats?). The old mechanic of losing lust based on stats of both partners was far better. I'm fine with the stats being condensed so long as the old functions they had are covered.

The game already was at the border on respecting the players time, but with the direction each change takes it I'm expecting the next update to make you lose lust upon successful wild sex as well forcing you to rest every 2 encounters. What's even the point of leveling up anymore if everything else is better than your MC?

additional notes on inbreeding.

there is now a 1 generation skip.

basically Male + Mother = incest
however Male + Mother's Mother = not incest

but I'll be testing a bit more to be 100% sure.

This may happen for a few reasons:
1. You haven't learned the appropriate sex position yet.
2. You clicked the "Quick" button instead of "Start".
3. The currently chosen position is not available for the currently mating couple at all (due to the size difference).

The dev asks u to not use cheat for this update because that "sandpaper fapping" IS the intended experience

if you want to waste hours per species. I won't stop you. If the changes are meant to illicit feedback, mission accomplished. If you want to get on my case for being able to guess really quickly how long things will take, then using 3x to see how long it'll actually take, sue me.

Hopefully he's genuinely farming for feedbacks, because my previous impression about this dev was basically "how to make porn games b-but d-d-dark souls!" and then go on to slap the 2 conflicting concept together like adding a sniper scope on a kitchen knife

uh, I don't know what to tell you. it's exactly what I did and it worked fine. wait.... YOU HAVE INBRED KIDS THAT JUST GOT GENERATED.

inbred kids currently hard crash if they are the same species as the mother, that's likely what's happening.

and I only say this as currently I successfully inbred one succubus that resulted in an Incubus where as the next attempt in my experiment crashed if it resulted in another succubus.

You can't fix that right? I will have to load another game

i have a big problem!
i play a new game , when i sleep a poor days and go to breedingstation the game crash to desktop
when i load my save and go to breedstation crash to desktop
i use the Version 0.760.89A the older version 769..... is going but since 760 only crashes

unfortunately yes. though through finally figuring out I can just immediately get rid of offspring by hitting backspace(with pregnancy off) to send them away I was effectively able to figure out the exact triggers for incest now.

here are my findings.

father/daughter, mother/son, brother/sister, half-brother/half-sister are all that matter for incest.

what doesn't count are: grandfather/granddaughter, grandmother/grandson, aunt/nephew, uncle/niece.

basically when you check the info if either selected being ends up with 3 of the same name being used it will crash currently.

knowing this I now thing the issue is a coding error causing issues with inherited names as well as the character generation.

Games like this always make me sad cause there is not many good sandbox games. Ability to travel around good looking world (i mean this is pretty much world of warcraft) freely in H games is very rare.

This one has pretty much all on point, it just needs a bit more love. Sex scenes and audio could be a lot better especially creampies (imagine if they were on Succubus Affection level instead of bland lifeless animation) , traveling speed is a bit tedious and slow, there is not much to do besides grinding. Seriously i just wish there was single good sandbox game like this but made better with bigger budget, maybe one day. For this one, i hope for good updates but i dont expect any big change in future.

I believe that I have found a problem. If anyone gives birth to(I think) a (futa) Lamassu, it causes a crash regardless of whether you try to view the Mutt Hut or the Breeding Area. I cannot say for certain, as I obviously cannot check, but given that every other Nephelym home can be viewed except those two, and given that I only had an Ayrshire futa get every Seraphim pregnant(breeder included), it cannot be anything else.

On another note, Vagrant Pregnancy is an awesome idea. True, it would be (a bit) helpful if you're notified when one Nephelym gets another pregnant(breeder excluded, as you already do get notified if a vagrant gets you pregnant), but beyond that, it's great.

EDIT: Sorry, it does NOT work. When entering the breeding yard or a barn, the game crashes.

Someone needs to tell that f§!&/¤ developer to stop harassing his players. It is getting really annoying to play maybe 5-7 hours just to get to where you left off, then realising a new version has been released.

Yeah tbh the reason Im still playing this game is cause there's some way to import the old saves into the new versions that are somewhat functional, even if not entirely or free of issues. But Im telling you, the way that things are going, on every update that seems more likely to eventually stop being able to happen and the moment that it would, Ill stop playing dry. Im really sick of the way the dev keeps pushing save wipes to start doing the same things all over again for his stupid "work your ass out - soulslike" mindset that every player should follow because "it's his game".

I'll be blunt here, BotN is the last game developed by a soulslike fan that Im still following and on every update is pushing itself more to be one Ill end up cutting eventually, cause the BS things are starting to become way too many and way too big. Taking ages progressively larger to add smaller and smaller features that each should be available from the start. Like, come on! The vagrants system was implemented quite a while ago and only barely a few days ago you're able to trigger pregnancies on the nephs via sex with them that way, while they could already get you pregnant before? Like.... Have sex with a neph being them the reciever, couldnt get them pregnant at all even if "always reproduce" was one, however if you were the reciever, that pregnancy chance was very likely to happen.

One thing I did before while converting save files was this:
1. I grabbed an old save, sent it to Save Editor, modified the number accordingly and loaded it into the new game version.
2. After the game has loaded that converted save, I then made another save file on a different slot with that "loaded game" version. So it could count as a new save made in a game with an already loaded progression.
3. Load the new created file and from then on keep playing.
4. To avoid issues, I try to stay as faithfull to the original playthrough config as possible. So if I had pregnancies disabled on the previous update on that save, I try to keep them disabled on the converted ones as well.

Let me know if doing something like this still cause issues and specially from which version are you converting the files from. Also if it's the first time you converted files in the "same" playthrough, so to speak.

So, after the new UI update, I can't figure out how to change species in spirit form. I do have both a fox and wolf girl, but I can only select the fox as my spirit form. What am I missing here?

Used to be able to set it to exotics only, now its just 'exotics on or off' but hominal types are always there...
