How TF does this have as high of a rating as it does? Most of the content is in stories that aren't even in the plot anymore-that either aren't good or are straight-up terrible-and the plot itself is so full of filler-pseudo-English-dialogue and a lack of the scenes it initially promises that nothing good has happened in over a year and a half of production. Dev is scamming y'all patreons like crazy. Like playing .4 vs 3.5 I noticed a grand total of-at most-1 new scene beyond what there was before. You bang a-poorly and nonsensically redesigned-Luna in the bedroom. Nothing else. After how many months of wait-time. This is goddamn awful for 1.5+ years development time.

The high rating probably came out from the first release. It was really well received. Of course after that everything went downhill.
That makes sense and I appreciate the insight but I'm mainly commenting bc of how odd your stats are-not hating but joining 2017 and having under a hundred comments is wild AF to me for some reason.

As for the user: could simply be someone who is more of a silent viewer and has a correspondingly low post count. Or the user in question is more active in areas where the count is not counted.
As for the rating of this VN, curious by your previous post, I read through some of the more recent ratings and have the following assumptions for the more recent 5* ratings:
1. the user in question hasn't had the VN all the way through yet, and is therefore a bit blinded by the better beginning.
2. service of one or more preferences. Quality plays a minor role and it is possibly clicked through from lewd scene to scene.
3. low standards. I see it often enough outside the AVN that qualitatively not good games are defended by the fanbase as if the said base were a mother lion defending her cub with her life. Pokémon, for example, is a franchise that has very loud defenders who cannot be argued with and any criticism is taken as if you were publicly using pages of the Bible as toilet paper in the Vatican.
4. trolls. Be it to shorten the distance to a hated dev/project, to lead the affected dev on a wrong track with his decisions or whatever. I could also imagine that possibly one or the other could be an experimental bot, because I have often enough 2-3-word comments on the corresponding VNs read in topics in their lack of content can be easily copied into any thread.
5. reaction collector. Reactions in the reviews are added to the total reactions received. I would assume that some people may hope to increase this counter.
LOL about my stats. I'm just not that interested in gaining post counts from spamming around. Basically joined to be able to download and see the porn games. I do comment once in a while and even rate games, like this one, just not that frequently.

I was a long time lurker here. Most of my points have come from just this year, but it's just a byproduct of having conversations with a lot of the good people around here. It's not the case for everyone, it is the internet after all.

the mac version can't open. usually it says that it's a downloaded app, but you can still open it. this one doesn't open at all.
Its poorly phrased, Males aren't encoded for monogamy, spreading their seed is in their best interest, But Monogamy as a Social construct is in the males best interest because it gives the man some degree of certainty that any children he is providing for are his, since women will never suffer that uncertainty polygamy is potentially more beneficial for them, assuming they can secure support through their more vulnerable periods.

Honestly, I think this last update he started righting the ship. The full playthrough seemed to progress a little better.
All the good bits were hidden though (even in the Christmas special (bubblegum girl + santa), you get to see all the action with the randoms (hookers etc), but not with the main girls, and Luna's new hair ? no idea why it was changed (hoping it's just a wig), it looked great the way it was, now she kinda looks like one of the randoms he's banged, but hoping that will all change
