This is not a hentai site, we're not just talking about Hentai games (especially considering the game you're commenting under isn't a hentai game), and you didn't specify your reply was limited to artists on this site. You said you have yet to find an artist or animator. There are a million people in the world that fall under those categories. Don't get mad at me because you don' know how to express your opinion.
Wrong again. I can't believe you just said this isn't a hentai game and this isn't a hentai site. You've totally lost it. If you dig the hole you're in any deeper, you might just find yourself on a site full of porn and sexual content that's somehow under a .edu domain where you could actually have a point. Until then, there are no straws left for you to grasp. Fraz off.

hen·tai
/ˈhenˌtī/
noun
noun: hentai

a genre of Japanese manga and anime characterized by overtly sexualized characters and sexually explicit images and plots.

Hentai

Hentai (Japanese: ヘンタイ) is a style of Japanese pornographic anime and manga. In addition to anime and manga, hentai works exist in a variety of media, including artwork and video games (commonly known as eroge).

The development of hentai has been influenced by Japanese cultural and historical attitudes toward sexuality. Hentai works, which are often self-published, form a significant portion of the market for doujin works, including doujinshi. Numerous subgenres exist depicting a variety of sexual acts and relationships, as well as novel fetishes.
Pretty sure this game isn't Japanese.

It was only a matter of time.
Spicy content =no hope for monetization = dev loses interest.
Gotta love vanilla with some vanilla and extra vanilla, right guys?
hope things go well with SS and hopefully one day a better solution comes up so more devs dare to touch any sort of risky content.

If the dev is waiting on subscribestar to approve them before continuing this game, then guess we will be waiting a good long while since they have been really, really slow on approvals lately.
In fact, even for those who want to support it is complicated, many cards are declined. I created a new account and I can't get my card approved. And there's no point in contacting support, they don't even respond. I had to resurrect an old account where I can put the current card. And on this old account, it was only possible to accept my card, because the developer (in question) contacted them so they could accept my card. Anyway, only with that account (and linked email) was I able to add another card.
subscribestar stopped being good a long time ago.

I bet you'll pay artists $120 to see a concert for a couple hours when you can just pirate the MP3 for free, yet foam at the mouth at the idea of giving a visual artist $5 in appreciation for hours of entertainment because you can get it here for free. Sad, really.
Actually no, I haven't been to a concert since 1998 (Ozzfest), and only then because this girl I was trying to fuck at the time was going and wanted me to come with. Same deal for movies, went with the same chick to go see Beavis and Butthead do America a couple years before when that came out (yes, she was a tough nut to crack). Not long after that (2005ish) it's as you say, I just stay home and download the shit I wanna watch and listen to for free, that's the sole reason why I have a VPN so I can torrent in peace (cheap compared to a single concert, about $40 for 3 years). As far as I'm concerned art is 100% free these days, and it's the dumbest way to try to get rich or even make a living with, 2nd only to buying lotto tickets. That term "starving artist" didn't just come from nowhere.

This is what DLGB posted on Discord today Everyone I think this project cannot continue. I just got shutdown a few minutes ago at my remaining support page BMAC and 2 weeks ago on Kofi. I really tried to push on and despite operating at a loss for months, I truly wanted to put the story out. But my situation today is very different than when I started. It was a hobby at first, I didn't care about the financial return for the work at that time and that's not the case right now. That being said, I will just start something safer for now. I will let you know when the new story releases. Refunds are underway for this month.

Well if theres one thing fans of adult games are good about is subbing and giving money to creators who abandon projects partway through. I hear there are bonuses for devs who spend 3 years on a project to see it not finished as well. Lucky dev.

It's weird how you keep harping on the fact that you assume the devs are doing it to earn a living and not just cover expenses of creating the game and a little bonus money on the side. The fact that you're so cheap that you can't spare 5 bucks to help out artists that give you hundreds of hours of entertainment is your own problem to deal with. Justify your attitude however you want.

I wasn't going 5 pages deep to read it. He can go the OnlyFans route lol. That was originally supposed to be for creatives. THOTs just took it over.
Would not be allowed there, too. Or not long survive there. Every site using paypal/MC/Visa etc. are not a good place for a game having loli/rape/bestiality. Those payment systems are unfortunately hunting such games, the main reason why Patreon has taken down games with such content in the first place...

Only Subscribe Star and some sites like boosty (russian hoster?) are at least for now ok with that. But on the other hand you often can't pay there with named payment systems then (I tried on SS, non of mine are working there)

Backed.By is worldwide (crypto), so if you sign up there and buy crypto that's a work-around for the shitty card companies. Often You can buy/sell crypto with an ACH direct from your bank account (ie Coinbase) or even with cash in the mail on some exchanges that are little more than escrow middlemen for those looking to buy/sell cash or crypto anonymously. Either way that leaves cc companies completely out of the loop so they no longer have a say when it comes to censorship.

I don't even consider it a problem, I'm just cheap in general. If I can get it for free first then I will go that route, and not just entertainment. And when I have to buy it I buy it Chinese or Indian over American, because that's generally 1/3 to 1/2 as much no matter what is getting sold (Aliexpress>eBay, even when the eBay seller is Chinese), even with 25% tariffs that the gov't somehow thought would make a difference in people's buying habits (it actually just annoys importers and kills their profit margins when for regular consumers it's still cheaper).
