the game keeps hanging up on me since I deleted an older non-stream version.
Since I'm from Germany, I can't get it on Steam because it's not available there.

I don't have any saves to share, but I share the frustration regarding saves; EVERY update results in you having to start again due compatibility issues between older and newer versions...
As for sharing the game? I hear those who do share it tend to find themselves banned very quickly due to visible and hidden signatures in the pirated software pointing right at the user in question...
I suggest either going through Steam and waiting the age it takes for updates to percolate through, or subscribe to their patreon.

It's enabled by default. Just go into the character creation, pick a female character, and smack a penis on her.

Nothing, as far as I know. They changed how saves are handled to try to fix the issues people have been reporting for ages. Considering I have yet to see anyone complaining about the game taking forever to save, they may have finally succeeded.
You can still get the Steam version if you buy it on a site that grants you Steam keys. The devs used to have a store page on their own site, but aside from that you'd have to get it from another storefront.
Why bother? It'll go down in less time than it takes to upload the thing in the first place.
It's intentionally done that way. This last update added a single new sex scene you can only access by going through the entirety of the main questline again from the beginning. Even if you sprint from A to B by the time you're done, guess what? Can't get that steam refund anymore.
Carnal is 100% a scam. Just check out wild life, it has so much more content than this trash
Nah man. The save changes have nothing to do with them adding a new sex scene. This isn't breeders of the nephelym, the devs aren't invalidating saves intentionally to force people through everything again. They are, however, changing how saving the game is handled because of a bug they've been trying to nail for most of a year, where the game could hang for upwards of half an hour on lower-end rigs just because someone made the mistake of hitting the save hotkey.
And I can't speak for latest updates, but last time I tried wild life it was a glorified sex sim where you enabled cheat testing to fuck whichever character, ran around a decorated island with nothing to do, and had no real quests or direction aside from those two things. And if that was your goal in the first place, I'd highly recommend basically anything by Illusion over a game like this.
To be fair, recent Wild Life updates has been slowly adding content, fleshing it into an actual game with porn in it, much like Carnal Instinct. They've even added actual cinematic and gameplay trailers to the Steam page.
But people forget Wild Life had years worth of a head-start compared to Carnal Instinct, and yet they expect CI to be on par with WL, content-wise. They also forget that in the first few years of WL's development it was exactly what you called it, a sex scene viewer, whereas CI hit the ground running with a base game foundation with mostly in-tact mechanics and an already impressively large world, so much so people on this exact thread accused it of stealing content from WL and Assassin's Creed Origin for some asinine reason.
I'm not putting down AdeptusSteve, game dev is relatively new to him (from what i've heard), but even looking at the pace that updates with meaningful additions come out between CI and WL, CI still comes out on top. The people claiming CI is less of a game than WL is laughable.
I've got a problem with the prisoner on the bottom left of the map. I killed the Jailor, looted the key and have it in my inventory.

Exactly this. Wild Life was first posted to F95 in July 2017, and has been very slowly chugging along ever since. Carnal Instinct was first posted here in October 2020. If people really want to call Carnal Instinct a "scam" for not having as much as Wild Life, they should dig up a version of Wild Life from late 2018 and try that first. That's so far back it isn't even in the thread's changelog anymore.
