I have now bought the game via Steam and thought "one time 24 € and always up to date" but failure, the Steam version is still on 1.61, almost a mispurchase...

Because Patreons are better than steamers.Steamers give once 24 dol ,patreon gives 20 dol monthly. Most of Patreons and Early Accesses are pathology in very core of that word.

Its like u buy cheap car then u realize it doesnt have wheels, engine and other stuff that u will have to buy later.

Best way would be say FUCK NO wanna our money give us full game but yeah "we are small team blah blah" excuse

kinda makes you wonder: how DID devs earn money back when there was no patreons and liveservice crap? was it *gasp* by making quality games, slowly earning and living up to a good rep? But this is impossible, right?

Actually no. They found a publisher (like EA) who gave them a budget for game development. Good luck convincing EA to finance these games here though I'm sure they'd find nice ways to implement micro transactions.

True, I miss the days where we got full games for a set price, now we have to buy games in installments and DLCs aren't cool additions, they're mandatory if you want to enjoy the game or get the full picture.

And like most new businesses, negative income until they either outsell costs or go under.
In the past they would just work on the game until the budget given by the publisher was spent for things like salaries and equipment. They only had to sell their idea to a publisher who would then pay them for making the game and the publisher would start selling when/if he deemed the game ready.
I don't get how people seriously think any "real" business would work for years without earning money? Yeah they might start in debt because of a loan but they normally earn money quite from the start to pay for their daily expanses, in this case through patreon so they can keep creative freedom instead of binding themselves to a publisher like EA who would tell them what to do.

no one is even mentioning that basically no regular publisher would even want porn games

In the quest milk and honey, there's a door that needs to be opened with a stone key. Where to find the key?
