Ok Went to Steam people, to check the game price tag and the version they have there...
I do not say bad things about games ever , unless its a scam , what it doesn't apply to this game , it has some content very cool built very promising and enjoyable to play , however if we want to play the latest build in UE5 you have a price tag of 30 Euros or Dollars whatever is your currency what i find extreme taking into account that you have so many finished , and I emphasize the word finished games now costing a lot less like 12 $ and give a lot more content and a finished product , I just bought Days Gone on Steam for 12 $ and its a brutal game with a lot to do , not the same Genre Tag but yet its a comparison due to the price label involved with this game...
Do not measure my words has negative to this game , not at all, the game is very cool and enjoyable , but here is what I think its a barrier taking into account the price tag for the latest Alpha release of UE5 version ... That is 25 $ now on sale , yes on sale they took 5 buck from it ! Sorry its lame very lame discount !
OK things that make this game to far from its price tag !
1 - Its an Alpha release So realise how much it will cost when one day its finished !
2 - It has a good concept graphically but very limited and clunky settings that do not remain changed once you tweak them !
3 - Character customization its good but far from practical and are indeed very limited and poor choices are given !
4 - Story its always changing because it's an Alpha release and it seems things are changed on the daily bases that shows there is no planning to follow in this games development , also the number of buggy Quest are going up and counting , things like picking a quest item sometimes work sometimes don't , quest do not finish after completing them forcing the player sometimes to just reload the last save to try again and even so it's not granted that it will finish , items that are supposed to be quest items other do not go away after finishing quests or you can not pick them up etc etc...
5 - Adult content its one of those things that I do not understand why it is so limited , mostly cause the scenes are in the game only limited to a certain sex position to each character what make the game and those encounters a run and go away situation, it would be much more enjoyable if you learned sexual positions during those encounters and than be able to play them with each character you encounter during game play and be able to change positions during those sexual encounters for another one that you have learned... Basically it is a nice way as it is for the first couple of times than its boring and repetitive until Devs realise this factors !
6 - Changing the Game engine to a superior version was a good choice however doing so cutting game content was again another step back, UE4 version has a lot more content compared to UE5 version taking this into account and reminding that so far the game starting in UE4 had not that much content tor finished ones and that changing the game engine and reducing the content to it even more it was a poor decision, You can do it but never cutting content , better improving it than reducing to after asking 30 $ for a game that has so many flaws ...
7 -I will never give aggressive opinions to Devs cause it is what it is , but honest reviews with the games facts at Hand its a must have , and I am sad with the direction and the amount of content and quality this game has moved to ... But above all its unrealistic and unfair game price for a product that has taken so far what ???... 4 years 5 years , to get where it is now and asking 30 $ for it when we al can say it will take another 5 years to have maybe more content a decent gameplay its for me more like a Scam or just very unfair way of thinking ... Maybe making it 5 $ and after releasing the final finished product ask for a 30 $ game price it would be Fair and professional , this way is just so much close to a Scam and refrain a lot of us to go on steam and pay its price in times that a lot of fake games are falling on steam included ...
Last thoughts There would be a lot more to add here , but its enough what its pointed and marked to give an idea in why this game has a very unfair price and its not a thing to even think about paying 30 $ for a game like in this state of development !
Sorry if it looked arsh this review but reality is a checking box for me !
