Looks like you are missing the jewel of wall climbing which if I remember right you get somewhere in the water cave, not sure how you got through the game without it.
Just basic platforming.
But anyways, I have 100% in the ice cave, and I am sure that's where I got the item that doesn't make you slip and slide on icy surfaces.

100% in an area just means you explored all the rooms, you might have passed by the item without realizing it
I beat the desert boss and I cant figure out how to get back to town now. Im stuck in the desert/ruins.

The password is this site's name, without the .to.
The changelog only mentions that both English and Japanese versions are now included in the archive. However, there has been a bump in the version number, so who knows, perhaps some other things were fixed. Also worth noting is that a previous version improved compatibility with non-Japanese operating systems, so if you were having problems opening the game before, give this version a go!
Do support the developer if you can, I'd love to see a third game in this style.

In other words, Japanese v1.06 = English v1.10.
So what I posted was indeed the most recent versions, updated on June 30th, and it includes both versions. Thanks for the head's up - I will edit my above post to reflect this.
Okay. Sheesh. Never mind all that - I'm a dunce. There's no weird version numbering; I was just comparing incorrect versions. Rest assured the above file is actually v1.10.

I can't seem to find the wall climbing ability, and I could certainly use a hand or two in finding it.
That desert boss seems quite strenuous without it.

if you don't have the swimming ability you need to get it
its in a deep underwater room with jellyfish
After obtaining it you should be able to swim out of the way of her tentacles.
You will need to attack the tentacles first before you can do any damage to her. starting with the big tentacle then the smaller tentacle.
After defeating the big tentacle, she will start raising these purple bubbles out of the ground.
They can be pretty hard to dodge so be carefull
Once you get the second, smaller tentacle down you only need to attact the boss a few times to win
the room after the boss has the ability to breath underwater as a reward

also where did you obtain the wall climbing ability?
I remember I passed some round shape rooms, and go to the dead end and get it. After that I can go on walls of those round shape rooms when I go back.

So this game doesn't really have that much H in it, relative to its total play time. I recorded all 11 CGs and in game animations, and the total run time (after some minor editing) comes out at a whopping...12 minutes. Mind you, I even let the CGs loop three times each for the video. For about 6 hours average spent on a blind play through, you don't get much banging for your time. I do realize how much work is put into animating this. Although the CGs are all excellently animated, as to be expected from Libra Heart, they all kinda lack sound effects? I mean, you can hear the character's voices, but not any sounds that you'd expect to hear from the actions on screen.
The CGs are not well paced either. You can get 8 CGs by the third dungeon in the game, about one or two hours in. But the 9th and 10th CGs are located in the mid game (the Ice Cave and the Desert, respectively), and the last CG is in the final dungeon. I expected to see new "hearts" enemies every time I enter a new dungeon, but nope, it's the same tentacle or zombie boi again (or both).
So for the verdict, if you're playing solely for the CGs, just look up a gallery video online my guy/girl. You can download a complete save file, but the in game gallery kinda sucks. There is no sound/voice, and you can't control the action either. It's just like watching an automated .gif slideshow.
The gameplay itself is pretty decent, but exploration can be such an ass. The game lets you progress without crucial items, so you could end up getting stuck in a pit without having the wall climb ability yet. Thank goodness for the scroll of return. I somehow got all the way to the Ice Caves without having double jump before realizing something is wrong lol.
