So when I download ChampionOfRealmsRE-0.0.1-pc and rename it to .zip I can extract it. But the archive contains a folder called "ChampionOfRealms-0.67-pc" and regarding to file size (~1GB compared to ~6GB for version 0.67) I guess it's the remake?

Well 6+GB is for the uncompressed version, dev also releases compressed vesrion which is almost around 1GB (it has same content as uncompressed except for images may no be best resoluton). possibly this link of 1GB has that content

Somebody trolling with the "remake"? seems to be the same game. All my previous saves work just fine and the game continues from where I left off with no issue.

For being an old dev on this site why does the account say joined tomorrow?
Should mention there was a troll not so long ago pushing a "remake" that I believe got taken down after enough attention was raised and the dev refuted any claims of a remake. Perhaps a hacked account?
