He gets better as time goes on and he matures and experiences more of the world at large.

And here is the post that goes with the new image.
The storm has nearly arrived!

The Alpha build is complete, pending some art, and achievements, scene galleries, and feature integration is wrapping up.

I use the term "post production" because the update is 100% playable from beginning to end and no new content needs to be added. The end of chapter summary and points are fully populated and all of the branching is in place.

Proofreading is in progress, and feedback from the proofreaders so far has been extremely positive.

So, what's left?

As I said, Kent has some more art to do, BUT the most challenging art for the chapter is all behind us. The remaining art takes place in environments that do not have to be built from scratch, and will not require a ton of new techniques and post-processing to bring to life.

Additionally, Kent has five days off this week to really dive into what's left, so we expect to see solid progress on the outstanding art.

I still have sound and music integration ahead of me, and little cleanup tasks like building the achievement thumbnails, etc.

Up in the air at the moment is what version of Ren'Py we will release on. There does appear to be a bug with the latest versions that causes misbehavior in the stat bars at the end of the chapter, and some weird black boxes to appear around the main menu buttons on the Mac version. Bug stomping continues.

You can all look forward to some pretty big reveals in this chapter (don't forget to stick around for the post-credits scene) as well as the primary characters having to face some surprises that will shape the second half of our story.

Looking ahead, Chapter 5 will represent a small time skip (days rather than months) so the impact of decisions made up until this point can be viewed in context.

My next update will lock down an estimated release date.

Production value improvements we're excited about aside, we feel this is our best work to date, and hope you all agree! You won't have to wait much longer to find out.

I can understand , infact i'm well aware why upsetting Jaye would upset you Horny .... you and your incestland ! or is it something else ?...hmm...

I wasn't serious anyway , actually i haven't made up my mind on whom i'd choose as my main LI yet ...i can only choose between Mallory and Jaye (dev you gotta give us Tara or Rikki or just Rikki :love:), so i should just sit and process the informations we are given up untill now , let's see... ...damn ...it's tough...

Jill , Selina, Bella , Miru , Katie , another Katie , Elspeth , Luna .......more...

So , Why haven't I chosen my LI in this one yet ? There are only two of them ffs !!!

Such unique lovely characters giving me a really hard time that i can't even choose whose shoulders to rest my head on. (Little help here :cry:, a shoulder perhaps :cry::cry:)

Mallory just don't have that sprak I like in Jaye.. But yet, we can be friends Mell.. :)
No Tara for us, unfortunately :cry: Her appearance and crazy personality are something ;)

But hey! We always can save the day and sacrifice that little cu.. rat, Jaye's ex instead.
Upcoming Storm can be a real disaster.. or it can be a great opportunity and answer for your prayers..

Hey , i love Jaye and her addictive character traits and other qualities...and i feel the same for Mallory , i chose Mallory in the verge of desperation and that wasn't an honest decision...I'll just play it again and make a sound decision.

It's a tough question. Primarily due to the wording you used to outline your thoughts. It's a bit confusing when you framing it this way..
Nevertheless let's pretend that I get it right. And if I don't, you will correct me.

You may find some minor resemblance, and yet it will be unintended. I've already finished most of characters before I even played this game.
But funny thing is, you will find far more interesting resemblance in Ellie to one of Chasing Sunsets' characters..
It was really a blast when during my playthrough, I found out her signature trait is actually a part of one of CS characters. :eek:

Of course the fighter seems obviously different , sweet and tough at the same time ?....anyway ..can't wait to get punched by her !

I've only recently discovered the game and only have one playthrough under my belt, but in that playthrough I managed to balance both relationships fairly well. If it came to a moment of truth where I had to pick one I could honestly say that even if you flipped a coin you would be a winner either way. In universe, though, I think the MC would be in much more agony if he lost Jaye. I don't see him recovering from that no matter how contentious their relationship became.

I know this is just wild speculation, but it think it's too early for the hard pigeonholing that it's being suggested.
I wouldn't say no to being stranded with Jaye for a couple of days however :cool:
