I'm all for a good build-up and slow burn when it's done right. But there's only so much you can delay things before it starts to feel like plot armor rather than logical story progression. Far too many games seem to think that the main love interest must first give a handjob, blowjob and a thigh-job before penetration. Felt pretty on-point to me...I could have seen it going either way. Depending on your prologue history with Jaye, she can be a dick virgin at this point, so...
Keep in mind by the time they end up in the shower they've shared exactly one kiss (perfect score in chapter 2) and a little teasing in the container and/or the bathroom the previous morning. Not jumping right into penetrative sex doesn't seem weird to me, considering.

Just caught up with the game and I have to admit that I was wrong about Jaye. Her character improved a lot after the lackluster beginning and her relationship with the MC has been build up well. The shower scene was hot af
