AFAIR, you have to "disable" him before that.
I don't remember exactly all the details, but try a few things like:
- a necklace (or a jewel ?) that you can get from cutting the trees (in the camp, of course),
- find a box (or a chest ?) near the goblin (still in the camp), and put the necklace inside this box,
- finally just watch the scene.

Would that update just adding a few new postgame quests or something I wouldnt even care but 1.0 change the whole gameplay so it really makes no sense to start the game now before 1.0.

Does the render quality improve over the course of the game? Seeing a 90 degree angle in a surface that should be flat or curved is kind of disgusting. I mean I like big tiddies as much as the next guy but cmon.
Another question, maybe an old one. Does this game freeze a lot or is it just me?

No and it won't. This game has 6 years now. It has some bugs and the heroine/ environment may be not your taste. But rating this 2/5 because it doesn't fulfill a 2022 game requirement in graphics/design is not really fair in my opinion.
It's like asking Ridge Racer from the PSONE to be like Forza Horizon 5 in 2022 and making a bad review because it's ugly.

You are right, rating it a 4/10 because doesnt meet 2022 requirements is unfair. Maybe I suck at expressing complex concepts in English, probably, but that is not my point, if it was, the review would be 200 characters long. Anyway, its my own opinion, I will add a disclaimer, but what I value in a game won't change overnight, the only thing I can change is the time I put writing the reviews.
I have no issue with the game but I want to make a point just regarding image quality and renderings.
First, looking at the images in the folder you can tell over time he has moved to sharper and larger images.
I'd have to assume the reason was his limitations in hardware for earlier lower grade images.
There is a second limitation the program he is using to create the images. They don't appear to be rendered just 3D game screen shots that are edited to remove the background.
Not sure what software specifically he is using but it is probably something similar in nature to honey select in that it uses either opengl or directx to render the images.
Image quality vs other games:
There are games on here that have better image quality that old. You can go through the list of games and find them fairly easily.

Well Guild Wars 2 came out in 2012 and has better quality characters in a lot of regards. Even back then before the updates they made. The point of bringing that up is to point out simply opengl and directx have been able to exceed that quality level for some time.
Going beyond what he has done may not be feasible.
The current limitation is whatever software is rendering or displaying the image he is copying.
Lets say he can export the model some how. The model is clearly build with the limitations of that software in mind. You can tell that from the way the hair is created. So he would have to fix the model to be rendered in higher quality or it would be a waste of time. He would also need to learn whatever new software he is intending to use.
If he can't even export the model. Then he would need to build new models from scratch in addition to the work listed above.
Ps one "ridge race" vs Forza is a different issue:
That was do to the availability of the hardware at the time and what it was capable of.
When he started this game the technology existed he just might not have access to it personally. He also chose to use a specific software over other methods that existed. The ability with opengl to create this level image or greater has existed since 2006 at least. That's 10 years prior to the him starting this game. We also have an example of a pro game 4 years prior to his with better quality images. The initial release of blender was in 1994. Blender 2.77a was released April 2016. So the capability to ray trace better images existed then for free.
So in this case it was probably the hardware he had available and the choice he though would be the easiest way for him to produce the images. He did what he could with what he understood and had available. Nothing wrong there.
I'll be honest, it's true in some way. Images could have been better right from the beginning but development took years.
I made mistakes and I improved; I was a beginner at first. The hardware was limited but also my knowledge. That's why it is a bit unfair to criticize that hard a game where I learned almost everything from scratch with time.
My intent was not to criticize you.
There was two reasons for my post. The first being the criticism was unfair and didn't look at facts.
It points out you had to work with the tools, skills, and knowledge you had. That looks you into a potential design path. That may not be so easily to get out of or change.
The second reason for the post was to point out that it wasn't purely an issue like comparing Ridge Racer to Forza.
Just because the technology exists doesn't mean it is viable or the best choice at the time. You were already learning to use the RPGM. Add to that learning another tool, creating models, rendering ... You probably would have gotten over whelmed and burned out. Working with what you had was a smart choice.
You also managed to write a fairly cohesive story with little no major plot holes that I have seen. Granted I've only played about 25% of it so far. That's a fair bit better than lot of game developers.
FYI you can fix this by deleting all of the pre-existing saves in the /www/save folder which come with the download. Not sure why but the presence of those saves causes the delay when opening the in-game save menu.
Make a copy of the current save file you're playing with, delete the entire contents of that folder, start a new game and create a new save, then quit and overwrite the new save you just made with the original save you made a copy of. That'll fix the delays and you can keep playing from wherever you left off. Fixed the issue for me anyways (I was on the verge of quitting because of it).

I think this is the best game on this site and played it at least 20 times but if you are rating this game just two stars. Which game will you give 5 starts?
I know and I understood your point of view. I was thinking about the 2/5 rating lately.
Indeed, the number of saves will delay menus.
I've played CoL and Cyberslayers, so aside from knowing you made both games, I could tell you made both due to similarities between them. But also could recognize where the improvements lay, improvements which might not have existed if it weren't for the various things you learned over time as you made and refined CoL, and then used that knowledge as you shaped Cyberslayers.
Honestly, I doubt most members on this site pay much of attention to ratings.
There are a number of factors as to that.
Take for example some people on the site only care if they can get to the fap material/ images. So if the game doesn't crash and they can smash a button and get to the content they want to see nothing else matters. You can tell that by the endless number of games that have massive plot holes and the only thing they have going for them is the renders are above average.
They pretty much never look at replay ability beyond the scope of can they get back to the fap material. They most like create saves at their favorite points to avoid even smashing a button a few times.
If you put a post up that someone with the power to take it down doesn't like well it won't remain up long. No matter how accurate it is.
There is a reason most users don't even bother posting or reading anything on the site. It isn't as if it is a secret either. I was warned about the site before I ever came here the first time.
Most people know the rating doesn't really reflect the game in its current state either. It's not like the rating is wiped each update.
Frankly, I think if you had more new patrons coming in the rating would increase. One factor I see that seems to make the difference is how active the developer in promoting the product is.
If you look at the developer for summertime saga as an example he has his website not just a blog, he does live development sessions, discord ... You can see what his rating is

and what he is making supposedly.That said this may be the only job he has and you might have a full time job. Which makes a difference in the amount of time you can devote to something like that. Also having a family can be a factor. I don't know your circumstances.
Making use of as many social media sites you can. Just make sure you are with in their rules to avoid getting kicked.
For that matter make a video or two of game play and dump it up on pornhub, spankbang, eporner, ... There are a lot of adult game videos on them these days.
Don't forget on all those spots you create to get attention for the game always link it back to your patreon or any other income source for the game.

Search engines often base relevance on the numbers of links back to the site as a factor.
In this case it is simple math. You have 41 opportunities for someone to find and hear about your game. They have 13400.
Then you have also links that lead to sites like this that discuss and share your game. Who has the greater odds of someone ending up at a site like this or someone reaching a pay option?
There is a funny fact. People are also less likely to down vote something they paid for. It has to do with pride. You know admitting maybe what you paid for wasn't the best doesn't sit well with a lot of people.
