It is certainly feasible for a bigger, stronger person to lose badly to a smaller, faster, higher skilled opponent but the difference in skill would have to be significant. Hand to hand fighting sports have weight classes for a reason...size is a big advantage. He even had a dominant on top position and she overpowered him from the bottom and flipped him like a pancake. She got him to submit by pushing her arm against his throat, it didn't even require any type of submission technique (rear naked choke, etc).
The thing that bothered me more than MC losing was how little effort, intensity and will to win he displayed. I'm personally small but nobody puts more effort into sports/sparring than I do and I can sometimes beat bigger/more skilled opponents through sheer force of will. Sometimes it's about who wants it more and it seemed like MC submitted and gave up as quickly as possible. It's a matter of pride...if I ever rolled over like MC did I'd be ashamed. Elise had the 'eye of the tiger' and MC looked pathetic. If this game devolves into MC being a beta bitch and being dominated by women that would be so sad. I'm not saying I want MC to be an asshole alpha because I don't like anyone who doesn't show respect towards others.
In regards to sex or story progression...why not use a balanced approach and do both (1+ scene per update)? Sex would've had to happen earlier in the update obviously but I'm not sure with who (Hilde???) because very little is happening with the team so far unfortunately. I actually prefer only a small number of 'one night stands' over the course of the story because, while exciting, they are unfulfilling and become less exciting if they become routine. That being said I'm hoping things start progressing more quickly with at least a couple of the team members.
Anyway, I don't want this to seem like I am shitting on the dev because he seems more refined and a class above most others I've seen so far and I wouldn't bother to comment if this wasn't a very good game. Many AVNs seem to be written for people of limited intellect and I find them insulting and struggle to maintain immersion.

Damn...I just love this game, but 30 min updates once half a year just depress me. Shame dev couldnt do this full time. Fuck.
Dude what? It kinda feels like youre mergin your own insecuritys with the mcs behavior. And crying about made up stereotypes really isnt nessecary in this case.
The mc is just apathetic, he doesnt feel any pride from makeing her submit or being "forced" to submit himself, he obviously doesnt care but the way the game potrayed him so far makes it obvious that it wouldnt have played out like that being a life or death situation.
And he's the leader and maybe somehow recognized that she needs a win. There were way more important things on his mind than tryharding to win this sparring fight.
If you want to use youre alpha and beta descriptions i would argue its more of a alpha behavior to not be hardcore obsessed with a win or lose in a sparring fight after you encountered countless life or death situations in your career already ..

Yeah, some people seem to not get it was,.......literally sparring lol.
And yes, there may be some sparring between mma fighters who try to simulate 100% at times, but there are also times where they control their tempo and train at 60% or 50% or even less, for a very light sparring.
So what's to say that MC just didn't give it his all in terms of their sparring, not giving his all, despite despite Elise increasing her tempo?
Also, even if he was giving it his all and got beaten, does that really matter so much?
Different characters are skilled at different aspects; Mirielle & Lana are particularly skilled at physical combat. Mirielle is skilled in espionage, Blanche is the tech specialist etc etc.
Is it really such a blow to MC that there's a LI who is stronger than him?
lol if that's the thought process which goes through some people because they think MC is being a Beta
, then I'm just at a loss for words and I'd say those people would miss out on some quite good games just because they think MC is pathetic for some weird reason (I'm guessing those people will avoid The DeLuca Family game like a plague because almost every female character in that game is stronger than the MC right now, and they'll think that makes that MC a Beta ).

Updated my compressed Android port of Color of My Sound with LaikDink's walkthrough mod to Chapter 2 Finale v7.
Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

That's the main reason. The other is the simple fact that Elise has trained her entire life in combat. MC went to officer school and got his training rushed due to the war. We're talking about a life-long close combat specialist versus someone who never fought fist-to-fist until a year and a half ago and only got the Sparknotes version of training at that. Not to mention Elise is abnormally physically strong for her stature. If MC wins against her, it invalidates her character's effort and background. What's the point of a team if the MC is the strongest in everything?

You must mean the best at everything right cuz let's be real years of training doesn't beat genetics Elise should be more skilled than the mc and should win a bout for now(even though in real life she would still lose a amateur level male fighter beats top female pros in sparring without going all out that's how it is but this ain't real life so I get it )Elise by no means should be called the stronger tho better fighter and stronger are different things and Mc sooner rather than later should be able to Suprass her with her help ofcourse that's how it should be(in reality he should already win) Either way I really like your game and I wasn't really bothered by the spar I just commented after I saw all these comments regarding it.Also mc being the best at everything doesn't mean he still doesn't need a team you know he is still one person you can be the best at everything and still get overwhelmed you need numbers.

2. MC...himself..explains..multiple times....in the story....he is not a hero, should not be there and isn't the right man for the job.

Great update imo, perhaps a little small but it is what it is. Story is...progressing....slowly....and it's obvious the build up is in the mental state of the MC more than anything else. My only single complaint is that we really don't appear to actually be doing much...investigating...of anything really....I'm also curious how Blanche went from one side of her head being incredibly short to a full of head of hair....but hey, given she has a godamn gold arm...I'll not question the science/universe too much.

Not even sure if she really died. This is a spy novel.. explosion "suicide" death of a character this early in the novel without seeing the body? With so many mysteries behind her unexplained?

I stand behind opinion that MC is useless, whiny, worthless creature with no redeeming qualities and story would be significantly improved if he wasn't even in it.
That has NOTHING to do with sparring session (seriously, why are people so angry about him losing in a sparring match? What's wrong with that?), and everything to do with him, so far, doing nothing, affecting nothing, contributing nothing, improving nothing, knowing nothing and saying nothing. He is just one big nothing.
I mean it, if this was lesbian game with no MC, I would enjoy it waaaaaay more than having this MC. Girls are, despite all mystery around them which makes me not trust or like any of them, actually interesting.
Having to follow MC, meanwhile, makes me want to bash my head against the wall.

Yep, MC is the worst character in the story, and it's not even close. But i still enjoy the game.

Jeesh...the whole point..which you obviously missed looking at da pwitty pwicshurez is that no, he shouldn't be there, he is nothing special..at all...and he is completely out of his depth. That's why you dislike him...you dislike him for the very exact reason he exists ffs.
THAT is part of the story...the guy is an idiot, out of his depth, not a combat vet, not a detective...he just a humble Joe who has no clue what he is doing. That is the very story (and a huge plotdevice) of our MC being forced and thrown into a setting he has no clue how to deal with!
So, you either accept that scenario and story (because he isn't suddenly going to become the person you think you are and think he should be anytime soon)....or please...just move on...the door is over there --------->

sorry I'll jump in, did you ever take in conteplation, that the MC is the one who tells us the "overcoming" story ? he has more flaws than we all together! true, he lacks of fighting skills, Lara, and Elise top him without any effort in that, plus Lara has all the spiritual side of it, Mirelle tops him in being cunning in spy games, Blanche has tech skills beyond his, and he has Lady Safyia, who tops him in Leadership, the Judge tops him in rightousness, so where left this the MC ?
and ok Rose detonated a bomb, but it it unclear if she was the bomb or she was standing on top of it and do we know she is really dead ? we didn't see a corpse we asume because of an terrible explosion she is dead, but is she really ? she dodged Mirelles bullets while on the run that means she has skills beyond what we saw.
