I haven't played since Chapter 1 finale v8 was updated and I see some people complain about the length, is it worth it now or should I wait for a few updates?
There was a bit of rework to Prologue + Chapter 1 that I think made it better.
Chapter 2 part A and B together are about 15-20min content, depending on how fast you read, and no new H-scenes so far.

Reading alot about June being a rebel(leader) or the Empress. I'm leaning more towards rebel then just because of 2 sentences which keeps "bugging" me after going through this thread.

Wow, really? How is it possible this game has rating 4.5? Not even minute of play and cute virgin chick already is in my bed... There is absolutely no depth in these scenes, dialogues are so shallow, it seems to me like dev has like 15yo. Maybe there is something later in game except nice renders?
So, you're saying an attractive young rock band guitarist being approached and propositioned by a fan after a show is inconceivable and only possible in the imagination of a 15 y.o.?

Guy who played one song and says to friend he got stuff to do so has to go home or something is approached by virgin "fan" on the street who goes straight for sex with him... It is hard for me to find worse scenario and I played dozens of VNs. I would buy it if she was not a virgin and kinda rebel character who wanna have fun, sure, happens. But this?
Only in 15 yo imagination you can create such a emotionless unreal scenery, young minds dream about situation like that in theirs silly little heads but world does not work even near like that (maybe I wrongly assumed it supposed to be some kind of real emotion experience like most of VNs and dev's concept was quite the opposite).
In none I guess, that is the place for introduction of world/plot/character not straight forward sex with cute innocent virgin met on street. It is like you would want to play a game of starting your first own business and in the first minute of game you would get 10mln$ inheritance from your dad... Sure, the paper accepts everything but that is just shitty written story.
But yeah, everyone has their own tastes, I'm glad some of you guys enjoy that, for me it is a big meh. I will try to give it another chance later maybe...
edit: and even more pathetic are all these guys who can only react to post with facepalm instead of join the discussion and prove me I'm wrong

Just got to the first optional Sex Scene, accepting the dialogue and behavior feel incredibly abusive and controlling. It's like MC is taking his anger out on her.

Not so shure, but that scene is important for the plot and it outlines her personallity I guess it was designed to be shocking, my advice keep playing, MC changes his behaviour !

I believe it'll just change the dynamic of the relationship. Accepting the sex does seem to point toward a romance path but it's too early to be certain. I think it's better off doing it in the long term. Don't let me tell you how to play your game, though!

i get ya and like you pointed out it's a little convenient that a virgin would do that. however, if there is more backstory added later like he's done far more shows than just that one then makes a little more sense. my thing and mind you I haven't updated to chap 2 (so ignore me if it gives her some backstory or anything), how sure are you that she isn't a rebel chick trying to have fun and a cover/alibi? her just conveniently gone in the morning just before the bombing seems to sus within the plot to the point I feel she is involved somehow. it all feels like it was left open like that to bring the shock and surprise that she is a rebel and not just any but an important rebel. perhaps you are right though. we just have to wait and see if there are any flashbacks or X time-ago moments. all in all IIRC this is the first VN from this dev and so far I think it's epic and has great character looks. especially for a first go

Some people refuse to accept that this story isn't set in the real world. Characters are driven by realistic motives modified by their circumstances, circumstances that are not entirely relatable to our lives. That's kind of the point of setting in a different universe.

While I agree with you, I don't think it is that abnormal. There are women who choose to lose their virginity with a porn star on screen. June's way seem normal in comparison.
