Same. I hate her as the concept of a person, but I like her as an antagonist. She's one of the few that call out the admittedly weird web of relationships developing around the MC before his heritage starts to justify it in-universe, and she continues to hold to her principles afterward. She's a pain in the protagonists' ass, nosy, delusional... and that's why it's so satisfying to see people put her in her place and enjoy those moments when the MC utterly disarms her. I find her more interesting as an antagonist than the stereotypical "rich asshole kids from a rival clique" that make up the rest of our opposition at school.I like Rachel, she is annoying, yes, but in my opinion she is annoying in a good way. I find her antics kinda funny, and she never really crossed any lines until a recent update. Also from a meta perspective her character adds a lot of good moments where the girls get to stand up for themselves and the MC. I have said this a few times already, if the other characters in the story took her seriously then she would be a far more annoying character.
It's going to be interesting to see what kind of past trauma justifies her irrational and obsessive behaviour. Also, while the MC has been very patient and nurturing so far, I wonder if he's going to be more coercive with her considering the extremes she is willing to go to and their strong enmity. Even Catherine is being progressively bent to his will, but Rachel seems like someone who would require breaking first if she's going to become a love interest.
