So I get this error code when im trying to start a new ch4 playthrough "img 'sc ch_3_1intro io5' not found and the screen is black with almost everything showing errors when i press on them Lain's galery and the status circle whats the problem here?

There is a problem with the car noise for the car scene in Chapter 4 Day 47 after the Cassandra+D+F scene never going away and lasting the rest of the game. Its volume seems to be controlled by the Music Volume.

Hmm compared to the previous 2 the 3rd chapt is meh.. Except the begin is feel rushed, compress too much stuff in little time, skipping some scenes where there's no mean to skip and in overall a lot less erotic, yes there is porn but is not the same thing, photoshots were all pretty soft and/or without any eros in it (simple jobs and move away) and the F is starting me to feel really unpleasant, much much more over protective then before, not pushing anymore the D (on the contrary seem quite the opposite) and unwilling to to try new stuff. Other than this there's various plot contraddictions from the previous chapt and not little misspelling.
I'm bit disappointed to see this since the 2 first chapt were amazing and i'm getting hard to continue the story..

After Chapter 2 it seems DMD veered off the corrupting D plot to some kind of romance with porn tossed in to appease fans.
D only should have ended at Chapter 2 and the rest of the updates focused on fun D.

MrDots has suggested a lot in the past. But most of his patreons were pretty much against everything that isn't vanilla and the most of them still are today. Even the best developer can't do anything if he doesn't have the support of the community. There were other voices too. But the majority wanted it to be vanilla. And they got it.

But the fundamental problem with that statement is:

Repeating your opinion of things is neither:
1. Needed, because young people can remember the other 387 times you stated your opinion.

2. Going to change people with completely different opinions, if it did not the FIRST time they encountered perhaps a new or alternate way of thinking.

If you think anyone who disagrees with you doesn't UNDERSTAND, you do not even understand opinions and sentiment. That is what is happening. Your point of view is not fact for everyone to accept it is only how YOU feel about it. Others feel differently. So there is no needed repetition to teach understanding. We understand how you feel which is why we know you have repeated so very much. So again.....

So you've been around to watch the evolution of this VN since its inception. That means that you watched the patrons' support for Dee's corruption, as contemporaneously documented in this thread, evaporate in the first 4-6 months of its initial release. Long before the beginning of Chapter 2. Them's that pay call the play.

I can understand someone who has trouble putting together a coherent argument, some people don't grasp logic. But if you are so insecure that you can't hear a simple, honest criticism of your favorite game, that's unhinged territory.

You nailed it.
It seems people already forgot that DMD at the beginning was completely free for first 5 updates.
After that it was for "patrons only".
Probably around that time started the change.
