By the time you finish playing this release, it should give you a fair idea of how close we are to finishing some of the extra paths and also bringing an end to the story between you and your daughter.

It’s nice that we have some fans who have let us know that they don’t want it to end or that they want it to go on forever, but the reality is, it can’t, mainly because we have ambitions to make many more games in the future.

That won’t happen if we continue making two games at a time and it will also slow down our progression as a developing team.
About this update

At the end of the last update, you and your daughter (and the other girls you may have been seeing) were getting prepared for a huge event that was taking place in Sunshine Bay that night.

Megastar and singer-songwriter “Koko” has invited you to a private function in town, and to also announce which two girls will be given a couple of important roles in the future, jobs that will pretty much set them up for life.

Will your daughter be one of them, or will she suffer disappointment and heartbreak just like she did at the modelling competition a few months earlier?

And that’s only some of the drama that will take place in this all-important release.

We also know that your ex-wife, Rachel, has befriended your daughter’s rival, Tyra, and both of them also have their own agendas and maybe even some scores to settle.

And what about the secret phone call your daughter made to someone during the last update?

Who did she call?

You’ll find out what unfolds once you start playing the new update!

We have covered quite a number of pathways and combinations in this new release, and they are as follows:

So as you can see, we’ve been pretty busy with creating these alternate scenes and various paths to accommodate your favourite combinations.

One thing to note is that we intend to extend some of the scenes on these various paths, but that will happen during our revision of Chapter 4.

*NOTE: We’ve made some dialogue changes to the Martin/F sharing path on Day 48 and the morning scene during Day 49.

If you play through ALL paths - it's pretty long. If you play only one path, you are right, it's kind of short. That's the prize for having multiple paths and combinations of girls.
And after all, the game is just one update far from the end - so what did you expect? Any new encounters? QUite the oppossite, the arcs gonna close all now and the game build up to all the different endings next update (or the one thereafter fi the time isn't enough to fit all endings within the next one.
You definitively will not experience any new stuff or any new opportunities - that's for sure.
(We told that since the last 2-3 updates now, but no one will ever listen, and people still think, that here will be more content if they cry loud enough - but this will definitively NOT happen).

Really disappointing. This game started great! And remained great up to the Chapter-2. But from there it was downhill...
I suppose the changes in the developer team took a toll on the game quality. As the game evolved players had more options available with D, after all the game is 'Dating My Daughter', so, she's the one that really matters. But in this update (V0.35) players had no options to caress D. It all happened automatically, no rub tits or rub ass, no fun at all. And at the final scene, no anal available. If that was the sexual routine the player had built for them throughout the game, it simply vanished because they didn't put the option there. Option that was available in their prior sexual encounters. It is sad to say it, because I love this game, but it looks like it will finish with a whimper...

I know exactly how long it takes to render things, and I also know Dots team has enough money to have 10 computers, each with one or 2 3090 GPU. So I guess 10 comps with a 3090 would not be a good investment, but I would be surprised if they don't have at least five, or better yet : one or 2 computers but their own render farm rig with 4x 3090 or an A100 or whatever pro GPUs they want to render. So render time at this point is not the same as for a beginner team. They have what's needed to make it fast.

So I know about the other game too, and I know about all the pose swapping they have to do, but this time it was all : make a scene, light it, pose it once with the biggest numbers of characters, send to render, remove a char, render, swap one, render, remove another... it was like factory work this time. They only had to pose most scenes once, then it's just swapping. And don't forget they also re-used a lot of poses from previous updates, they only change camera angles. So that's even more time saved. Whatever it was in reality, it really felt like 2 weeks and a half of work at best.

but yeah, Timestamps team is good. Maybe they should be in your signature block instead of this game

Yeah that's just lazyness and remembering I vaguely struggled last time I set up my sig and so I tend to keep it like it is in fear that I will fuck it up and waste 30mn on it before I succeed. But you're right I should do it one day. Then there's also the fact that DmD is kinda my first love in VNs, and I love D's character, even if the game has been 50% disappointing lately. And this smiling dog just cracks me up. Thanks to the guy who made that sig.

1. you can only import game states created by my android port of DMD CH3 v0.29.1
2. you can only load save files created by my ports of CH4

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

I found it was good until the end of Chapter 2 then went downhill, kinda like keeping the game alive for the sake of keeping the game alive, the initial objective in the story was met at that point, then it became more of turning Dee in to a tramp than anything worthwhile story wise.
