Ok, it all started with DMD but he's other games are FAR better. I loved Melody, even with the annoying music questions. SL is not really my fav but perhaps he's next will be real good.

if someone else does a remake i don't know how Dots will react - it's still his game and he got the copyrights.
One thing is for sure: HE will not do any remake himself. After 6 years, it's really time to let go - nothing is forever.
There are other ideas for new games, rather than repeating the same stuff over and over again in different scenes. My PERSONAL opinion is, that DMD is already too much worn out right now though.

Better late than never, it really should have ended with Chapter 2. It was all down hill after that.

dots him/themself talked about POSSIBLE remake in future but mainly graphic update (like changing d's model to sl kris model).

Hyperserver cxx So, I didn't read latest news on MrDots site or Discord, will there still be alternate stories like they did for Melody ? None of you is talking about it anymore, so I wonder if they canceled it, and if not will it be in the XMas update or in revision update in February or March ?

Except the upcomming final story content update to be released on X-mas, it's also planned to be another update next year though.
That will not be a content update for the story, but kind of extra standalone scenes like a bonus (like done in Melody).

well - rather YOU being "annoyed" than all others being bothered to download 16+ GB in one "complete game".
Splitting games into chapter is nothing unusual at such sizes - just saying.

its not the only fact that i have to download so many links. it would also be better with one big game, cosidering you cant carry over saves,, but instead have to "remember" the choices made in game.

oh - poor you ... you have to remember the choices you made.....
That's pretty hard if you just skip through the story, or if you use a WT mod and follow that without thinking, then i agree.
But if you play the game and read your choices, and think about what you are doing, then you will be pretty able to answer the questions easily.
Also, if i remember right, the jump from chapter 3 to 4 is possible to do with savegame export (not sure about between 2 and 3, as it's too long time ago since i played it)
If you are not able to remember your own choices for a few hours or even few days, and just play the game for seeing lewds, then it might be better to watch porn each way.

well dling 16+ gigs on every update is quite a big task especially if isn't mega supporter but sure if has 1Tb net then why not and has mega sub.
need to remember happens only once.
maybe that rumored remake makes game 1 big dl (doubt dmd remake will use jpgs/pngs anymore) but not as big as current size.

3 to 4 you can transfer, but all others you have to enter the number of points you have for each stat and confirm the choices you made. Maybe it's because I went down the d only route, but it's really not that hard, e.g did you reject X yes or no.
