So, I finished the game despite being unable to save the latter 1/3 or so. Hoping an update will fix this before the next chapter.

Overall, this installment met all of my expectations except for keeping the "reveal" conversation between D and Elena confidential. Then, checking out the "harem" route, I could see that they used that setup to further Elena's parallel path in a reasonably creative fashion, which was cool.

And, as anticipated, Elena did indirectly contribute to their consciously considering PinV by her mere suggestions and repeated suggestiveness, I feel. That final D and MC sexual act was the result and we know what's on tap for the next installment now: some type of penetrative act will become the center of focus that they more rapidly swirl around.

Meanwhile, on Elena's route, she went from a gut "love" feeling for MC to wanting an explicitly sexual role with the pair after reconciling that she will not be MC's primary love partner - given the moments where she admitted to herself that her future is otherwise uncertain and further evidence that she really just wants to feel satisfied without working too hard most days, I think she's falling into a mode of accepting being the third wheel in both the D-only and harem route.

I liked this chapter, just want the save bug to be resolved and am unsure how to contact the Dev team directly, since my payment via the Buy a Coffee route doesn't offer a help line to the team.

Elena is starting to worry me though, because now that she's really starting to figure out the level and depth of F's and D's relationship, and figures she's but a third wheel and will never be the primary focus no matter what, I think that makes her bitter. Sure she loves D, a bit too much really and not just on a mere level of being friends (she even said she'd want to be a part of their sexual activities), she will help D all she can, but what's her angle? You know as well as I know that she's not exactly the most selfless person in the world. She will help F and D, and she obviously wants to get the hell out with them, BUT, why was it necessary to take a picture of them naked in bed? It makes my blackmail senses tingle, she's gonna be trouble later on, she might even go as far as revealing her relationship with F to the D even, if she really wants to hurt the two.

There is a lot of people on the planet. This is evidence that you have very little faith. Now for example I have played with and gotten a bunch of girls off on sexchat, without evidence that they were women except for pink letters in there name. Yeah, I wondered about any signs of jealousy driving her to bitterness or anger, but it seems her nature to just want satisfaction in life and her genuine friendship with D is currently keeping her head squared on their mutual goal: get D and MC out of the country (or, at least living together) and somehow go along with them to give her a solid base for however long she needs/wants. She practically said as much at one point in the installment, but I agree that she can also be a catalyst for problems some day - maybe that's the cost of her nature that currently benefits them, her lack of predictability and reliability (even to herself).

I've posted before about how I feel the writers don't much choice here. You can't have a sweet innocent character that has sexual attraction to her father and not also be naive as fuck. Playing "move the goalposts" about sexual subjects in about the only sane way to explain why she's slowly ok with the increasingly perverse acts she's committing. I've personally known people that claim shit like "anal sex isn't really sex, so I'm still a virgin" or "blowjobs don't count as cheating." Shit is more common that you'd expect.

As to her being unbelievably naive and innocent, well those kind of people really do still exist. She's refused to talk about, look at or watch anything of an adult nature up the the point of the game's story. Sure Elena is a big old slut, but that doesn't mean she hasn't respected D's wishes to not expose her to that stuff. As D seems to be pretty unpopular in school I'd say the odds of other kids talking to her about sex was pretty low. Yeah she knew what Lucas did was wrong, she knew it was wrong with her dad too and she said so. Difference is she didn't feel anything for Lucas. Deep down she's had feelings for her dad from the get go, and didn't know how to deal with them.

Yeah a lot of the mental gymnastics the characters are going through are rather bullshit to an outside observer. Most peoples hypocritical justifications are in real life too. Doesn't mean they don't make complete sense to the person that is using them. Especially when their emotions are making them want something bad, and they have to convince themselves there's a logical excuse to make it ok.

. The MC there is a former drug addict who has cleaned up his act. By the end of day one his estranged wife who has only talked to him online for months is already boning him and talking about moving him back in. By day 2 his oldest daughter is trying to get in his pants. Mother catches wind of this and is amazingly ok with it immediately. Few days later and his youngest daughter is in line too. No ramp up to getting to know them, no need to build any trust. It's fun and erotic, but from a story perspective the narrative is jarring and strains belief.

I'll take "Blue Balls Simulator" to "Incest Porn Tropes" anyday. At least that way I give a shit about the characters having sex by the time it happens.

Wow, damn, you sure did go above and beyond explaining all that, and so in-depth too, and I can't but to agree with all that. Like you said, people like that still exist today, more so than what one might believe actually, and there's nothing wrong with that to be honest, nothing wrong with complete innocence, sure it might be weird that one might be so oblivious, and naive, but is it wrong? No, I actually find it endearing. In today's world it seem like people are in such a hurry to have slept with at least 10 different girls/guys by the age of 18 and shit like that, but why is that? I have much more respect for slow-burn love with just one person for however long it may last. It's not the quantity of sex that matters, but the quality of it. Sure it might be great (and it is) to just casually have sex with no strings attached and so on, but it's much better with a person you love and lust for, person you're passionate about.

Its not about pace, its about dumb shit like dragging out every convo. During new updates I find myself spacing out and skipping past 75% of the dialogue, skim reading. Blah blah blah blah get to the point. The whole game is a milk factory. If this was presented as a finished product from the start at a slow pace, I am sure it would be much more appealing and I wouldnt be bored / spacing out 75% of the time. Thats because the game would be designed to be a finished product delivered at a slow pace. Right now DMD is designed from ground up to be a month by month milk factory to get subs. Now that patreon is playing moral thought police, wagging their authoritarian fingers at us, I was expecting more but last update is still the same crap, and dont have high hopes for this one when its finished downloading.

Do you understand that they are building up to that and why the buildup has been happening is a loooooong point of discussion in this thread? That his has been the model all along? And, that post-PinV they need a basis of a romance and supporting side-stories to make this go the full nine yards?

Everything about this game feels extremely dragged out. Most of the production time is spent on high quality DAZ 3D custom renders, and dots draws out each conversation to maximize his limited resources. There is one unsatisfying sexual render thats not enough to fap to as a conclusion to each update.
