God SL was such failure regarding this, especially texts, I'm used to limited facial expressions because of DMD and Melody. I stopped playing SL after 4-5 updates. Nowadays I just browse CGs from it and I manage to be disappointed anyways, because it's "oh, MC is fucking a woman" how unusual, "oh he's fucking her in the ass" made me raise an eyebrow, sparked 10% of my interest. "oh that's all for this update" I hope teenagers enjoyed it, I know I didn't.

But the issue is of course not you 2, but the hundreds of thousands of like-minded Patreon subs forcing the market to be mostly Vanilla.
