Except she hasn't had her own opinion ... about anything."man I used to like her but then she had to go and have her own opinions about shit" complaints.

But why does she ignore her life with her father he never betrayed her during the 18 years or did he?She certainly does, if one that's formed by a biased influence. It's clearly a flawed one (separate issue) but the point is she's doing something other than playing that part she's expected to play. Her own ideas, i.e. not just going with the player's preference.
And she's always had her own opinions. She believed the diner was worth saving. She wanted to get the jukebox fixed so much it became a plot arc of its own. She wanted the MC. She has opinions about Lily, Heidi, and Moe.
Well, that just provs my point then. But why does she ignore her life with her father he never betrayed her during the 18 years or did he?
There shouldn't even be a opinion that involved in believing her aunt.
No it isn't an opinion She wanted to fuck her father because she is a horny ass bitch.See, that's another opinion of her own. we're free to agree or disagree with it but it exists.

I said pissed yes but whats she does is throw everything her Father gave or did for her her whole life out of the windows that is not being pissed but being an ignorant little bitch that should know better that her father would never do something like that....that's an opinion. I think the character model for Kathy is hot, and if I were a reasonably attractive datastring of 1010100001100010101010 and not a person (or better yet, if she were a person) I'd love to get with her. Opinion.

As for wanting the d... I guarantee you, if a woman is in such an emotional mess as she seems to be in (and the consensus seems to be she's pretty deep in that), the last thing they're going to do is put up with your shit to get your d. Plenty of d out there.

Your missing the point... The fact that she wouldnt at least ask the MC about this new information wether its backed up by Moe or sleazy ass Saul and just go straight into MC hate mode is beyond stupid. Its just a terrible job by the writing team to add rediculous conflict plot to a damn porn game. It was handled in such a terrible way it makes one question if the whole point is to get the players to hate Amanda with no chance at redemption. That's how opinions work. I like the band Queen. That's an opinion I came up with, but not without influence from my dad who got me to listen to the band. Opinions are formed with bases.
"Backing off because she doesn't know what to think" is normal in a case like this, but that's because it's a huge decision that needs weighing, and not because she has no opinion of her own. Hell, the choice to back off is also her opinion -- she doesn't outright stay (what the MC would want) or leave (which the aunt would want). Her choosing to figure things out in some way is her own idea. I've already conceded that her staying at the aunt's place is a bad look for the story being told.
It's hilarious that you demand more sophisticated thinking from her but are completely fine with "yup she's only sticking round for dick" to explain her actions, completely dismissing any possibility for complexity there. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
And thats the Problem the Aunt is a and should be a Nodody to Amanda! You don't listen to a Nobody that doesn't know YOU only her FATHER knows who Amanda is!That's how opinions work. it would be much better it the aunt was "nice" and wanted to build a relationship with her niece and then backstep her father by slowly building doubt about her beloved father... then you have a real drama but when you just throw an aunt into it that clearly doesn't have good motives then it's just drama for drama. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. I'm still buying it. I'm only up to ch 14.Thanks for your comment. I definitely understand it. This is a series though, and you sort of have to follow it for all of it to make sense. But I totally understand it; that's why I'm trying so hard to explain Amanda's behavior
Have a great Sunday bud!
I agree that some people would handle it this way. And try to work it out for themselves first before confronting MC about newly discovered facts.Exactly. She's uncertain. Doesn't know who to trust and what to do. She handles it in her - young - way. We felt that was realistic and we like it. But hey, it's not for everyone.
