This sounds like an issue on your end, either your GPU doesn't have enough VRAM for all the textures, or possibly your driver's are really out of date.
What graphics card are you using? (if one at all, as you might be using integrated graphics which would likely cause this issue)

Here you can see that the paved part is normal, but then snow is chess board.

High quality settings, holding at 60 fps.




I wish there were configs we could change to make the game harder.

It's too easy now even on hardest difficulty where you now start with armor and a gun when before you would start without it.

Also, the game is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too generous with money, ammo and upgrades from dead body drops. I barely left spawn and already have red dot sights, 700 euros and a shit load of ammo. The drops are too much, should be less.

I believe this is the first "Unreal Engine" tagged game that has actually content rather than a library of sex animations. It's honestly how I imagined the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series would've turned out if they leaned more into NSFW content.

Additionally, thanks to TJ888 for providing a crack to allow us to play test the game before sinking money into Patreon. I'm always weary of NSFW projects built in Unity/Unreal due to the complexity of both of those engines. I've seen several projects (non NSFW), such as Starforge, fail due to upstart devs not understanding how to optimize the assets they license.


And finally, a word of caution: this game does not have an options button on start. You can only change the graphics settings after you load into the map. This means that anyone without decent hardware will have a hard time loading in for the first time, especially with older SATA SSD's. Additionally, the game ran at a consistent 70 FPS on max settings with an RTX 3060 Ti, and a Ryzen 5 3600.

Added reference: it took me roughly 30s to load in for the first time with a gen 4 NVMe SSD.

I have TOSHIBA 465gb old boy loading in menu like 40-45 sec...same for in game and raid areas.

Not all textures are chess board, but quite a few ground. One of the things that's messed up is snow.

I got a GTX 970 perfectly fine.

I agree difficulity is fine but AI is abit clunky and shtupid..

I'm running a much worse GFX and CPU than you, plus old DDR3 1600mhz RAM on a SATA disk and I get steady 60 FPS on high settings. And around 16 seconds to go from double clicking on exe to being ready to walk around in map on a SATA.

You need to defragment your drives and look at drivers, cause that is slow.

You don't defragment SSDs or NVME drives lmao. They don't have spinning platters with a mechanical read head, they use flash memory. Defragging them in the traditional sense makes 0 improvement in speed, and in fact just does a bunch of unnecessary writes to the drive, which nowadays isn't a problem. But back in the day when SSDs had notoriously low write cycles, too much writing to them was bad (again not really a problem anymore, SSDs are rating up to around a petabyte of writes now).

Running TRIM on an SSD is fine, and is what the windows defragger does on SSDs since Windows 8. However TRIMs main purpose is to free up unused space, which reduces the amount of automatic garbage collecting occurring, which gives a small boost in write speeds (not read speeds, which again read speeds is what matters when loading, so TRIM won't speed up loading games either).

Also the person mentioned first load, I'm assuming every load after their first will be much quicker and likely faster than your 16s.

Check the version installed operating system, recommended version WIN10 21h2 - WIN11 21h2 or higher.
On older versions are similar bug with textures and the same happens if the game is forced to run in dx11 mode.

If you had just checked the Patreon or Subscribestar sites, then you would have known the frequency of the updates beforehand, because even when you are not an active supporter you can still see the posts he made there and when they where made. And if you had just bothered to read or even skim through the changelogs of previous updates on the first page of this thread you would have noticed the very apparent focus on gameplay over porn.
But you did not and rather than noticing your mistake and deciding to move on, like any adult would, you decided to act like a child and scream "Scam" without a real reason, like people here always do when they do not get their way and dont have any arguments to support their position.

Just do as you said in your own post on May 8th: be done with it and move on, you are not adding anything to the thread by screaming "Scam" every 1-2 weeks while still demanding that the Dev adds your fetish to the game above all else. The makeup items apply the presets that you define in the customization interface - that's available in your hideout (next to the stash) and in a few other locations in the world.

If you don't change the default preset in the customization menu, then the makeup items just apply the "default" look.
