I make it quick:
-no update since April (this one also had a 3 months delay)
-since April to September he worked on the game (his words)
-somewhere in between April to September he announced to simultaneously working on a new project cuz he had burnout and couldn't find inspiration for demon boy
- burn out is a serious mental health issue. No doctor would advise you to work more. (burn out = lie)
-communication got worse from July to October. Very loose weekly updates. Some weeks nothing.
-In September / October his progression bar went over 100% on renders, writing, animations
At this point around 800 renders (his words) in 7 months. Not much in comparison to other devs
-Mid November the announcement of a surprise release which got canceled a few days later cuz of grammar errors
-November / December working on odd renders ( he wanted to launch in mid November but was unaware of bad writing/ "odd" renders)
-not only he couldn't find the grammar errors before the surprise release, he also couldn't find the render issues while checking on grammar before (lies have to sum up at some point. He can't even get that right).
-December weekly updates had no details on what he's worked on or if he did solve the previous problems.
- weekly updates were used to complain mostly ( "I'm a one man team / it's hard for me")
-" new year is all on his way" at his first weekly update in 2023. It was pre written imo.
- casually announces that he took a break for almost the whole December + holidays
- something doesn't add up hm..
-gave out a second release date one week in advance. Release? Nope.
Honorable mentions:
-Statement where he said, he's working as a porn game scammer fully as his day to day job in April too, I think ( goal was around 1500 Euros / month)
-the exact same goal and income is on his subscribestar too (launched it somewhere around September / October 2022 I think). Goal is not reached. What a clown I don't have to explain it more.
-happily announced after chapter 4 release, the purchase of a new graphic card which allows him to render way faster than before (spoiler: it didn't)
-around 30 renders a week since then. It even got slower
Fuck man. This was a lot but I promise you I already forgot a fuck ton of slip ups this mf did. He came around as a dedicated person and slowly became the same shit show like every other scammeloper.

As a certified Eromersive hater I need to tell you to not give your hard earned money to this greedy bitch. Donate the money to people in need or animal shelters. Even if he crashes this game and doesn't want to work in anyway anymore, the Dutch social money gets him a better life than people in 100+ countries around the world while working 9 to 5. He doesn't need your money and he doesn't deserve it, either.

Huge drop on his Patreon this month, if he keeps delaying the Chapter he will lose even more patrons in the future.

That's just my own opinion, formed by reading comments on this forum, so take it as you want.
We ain't getting an update my friends, not now, not tomorrow and not ever, reading this made me realize that. I wasn't exactly up to date with everything, the dude wanted to drop Demon Boy the moment he mentioned his new game. However, I don't think he expected the backlash that he got when he started posting about that new photo or whatever game he had in the works, so... he put that to the side and started on working on DB again.... but as we all know, working on something that you don't put your heart into it anymore... it's... annoying to say the least, and you make fuck ups, you start writing a scene, than you delete it than you write it again, and it just doesn't feel right anymore, hence the 169% or whatever he said he was at. I don't think we're ever going to see an update from Ero on DB this year neither another game, he may come back in a few years with a new title that he's gonna work on for a few months, than... he will drop that one too.
That's just my own opinion, formed by reading comments on this forum, so take it as you want.

And regain them all back by the end of the month as per usual.
Everyone who's not subscribed for multiple consecutive months gets dropped with the beginning of a new month and has to re-sub, and they will.

Not all of them, it's decreasing even if it's little by little one day he will have few patrons, he always ended with +550 by the end of the month now he ended with less than that.

Nu-uh this drop is pretty huge even it's a new month, going from 500s to 360 is not a regular one that's like 10% of his patrons. All I'm saying is that people are noticing this so unless new patrons come to his rescue this number will just decrease.

I think GandalfTheGrey91 summed up this debacle nicely, though he's certainly missed a few points such as Ero going dark on his top tier patrons (etc.). There are plenty of devs at all levels of renown that have proven their commitment to consistent updates and/or transparency - such as the devs in my sig or the countless others here in this thread.
The primary redeeming quality of DB has always been the render quality as it's rare to see devs take the risk with how long renders will take because of it. The story served as a scapegoat for Ero to avoid implementing further lewd scenes with the more popular characters, which ended up giving him leverage in delaying the game by playing on his Patrons' hopes.
It seems I dodged a massive bullet with this VN when I decided against subscribing to his Patreon. Instead it's going to a dev pushing out weekly updates and making good progress despite being in the middle of a war. Cheers Ero!

Speaking of patreon subscribers.. Bobjewl also mentioned Ero's highest tier on patreon have no benefits over the other tiers below. You can subscribe for 1$ or 20$ per month. It doesn't matter. If I remember correctly you get access to his private discord, special renders and what not. As Bob said, he ignores everything.
There is no update. If you lie it has a purpose. He just keeps his subscribers on edge, that's all. This is the only explanation I can give cuz otherwise if you really think about it, this behavior wouldn't make any other sense.
