Ahh a tragedy in my wholesome pregnancy game? I have read the comments and wondered why all the sudden hate, it's bad, but not too bad to make waves of angry reactions at the poor developer.
I may not be pleased with the reports of the ending (mostly cause it seems girls were left on the wayside) but this is how every dev should respond, the games as a whole would be much better, design by committee is a terrible idea... And it's even worse when the committee is an unwashed horde of depraved internet perverts.I'm sorry, but are you telling me what I can or can't do in my own fucking game? If you don't like it, you can just go jerk off on some other game. Quit your whining and move on.
It was a flash forward scene but there was no hint of a sexual relationship with any of his daughters.Why even call it Depth's Revival 2 and have scenes in this game that seemingly hint at the MC having a sexual relationship with his daughters (a flash forward if I remember correctly),
The point ---->"Boo hoo a figment of MC's imagination is dead"
A story ended and it was a fine ending
It's about MC not NEEDING Serena anymore. She wasn't even real and he's already gotten his better life. There are 34560798 games on here that will never end and facilitate you better if that's what you're after.
I get you're prideful about the ending despite your fanbase's overwhelming negative reception, but this is not how to handle the situation. Telling members of your fan base to effectively go fuck themselves for picking out plot holes and being confused is the complete opposite of what you should do; it shows more care for your ego over those who may pay you every month to support you and your game(s), and THAT is precisely how you lose that support. Instead, it would be best if you were taking their criticism constructively; this doesn't mean bending over backwards for them, nor does it mean changing everything to suit what they want (which is a terrible idea; games have always suffered from being community-developed over being developed with one or two dedicated ideas). It means seeing that people don't like this or that, taking that on board and giving it some proper thought rather than dismissing it all outright because you think it's perfect (it categorically isn't perfect, as nothing is).I'm sorry, but are you telling me what I can or can't do in my own fucking game? If you don't like it, you can just go jerk off on some other game. Quit your whining and move on.

This is the final image of that 'sad, awful' ending. Look at them guys, they're crying :,(
You got the game for free, so wth are you bitching about anyway? If you don't like the story then mtfo *quietly*, or do a BETTER game/story that you feel does a better job.Tragedy, oh what a shame. Always have to throw in ‘artistic’ (autistic) endings. We just can’t have nice things. Should’ve added a boat load of NTR as well.
So this is the scene after the coma? Not bad.View attachment 4033673

Eh, nah.I get you're prideful about the ending despite your fanbase's overwhelming negative reception, but this is not how to handle the situation. Especially when a community that has followed you and your development of this game suddenly has an overwhelmingly negative view of your latest update, you need to take a step back and change your mindset from "this is perfect, so I don't care" (which you portray right now) to an open mind and give the ending another read, take on board the criticism and at the very least try to understand where your fanbase thinks you've gotten muddled up so you can try to respond appropriately rather than with the egotistical "It's perfect, so fuck you all" response you've gone with so far.
I said it was a fine, not good, ending. And I talked AT LENGTH with Seacth about this ending. My FIRST issue was how abrupt it was. I think this needed to be addressed WAY BACK when MC first met Sarahs mom. It all comes out of nowhere. And that will never change. But it's also his game. If you didn't pay for it or make it, don't complain. That's the BS you guys all feed me when I say something negative about games, right? Hell, I'm one of this games BIGGEST critics. I don't even like most of it. I will, however, respect a devs choice in how they go about their game.It was a flash forward scene but there was no hint of a sexual relationship with any of his daughters.
Dev has outright admitted that father/daughter incest is not his thing and he won't do it.
The point ---->
Your head---->
If you read through the complaints, very few mention Serena. Most of us knew she was not going to be around forever. She was there to help him, he got his family and didn't need her anymore so it was time to write her out.
What people are annoyed with is the shooting and the whole load of BS around that. One minute they have a conversation and seemingly all is well, next he's shot in the head.
It was a tonal shift that, if absolutely needed for the story, should have been in the penultimate update not the finale. It takes people out of the setting when something that drastic happens and it didn't land with a lot of the audience.
Comments like yours aren't going to make people suddenly think it's a great ending.
Supporters? This game has been out for my supporters for 20 days and none of them told me this was a bad ending?I get you're prideful about the ending despite your fanbase's overwhelming negative reception, but this is not how to handle the situation. So, instead of playing a game you supposedly really liked and loved, to see the actual ending of the story yourself, you're taking the thoughts of the unwashed masses as your final thought of the game? You apparently didn't actually like the game if you're not even willing to see for yourself how the ending fit (or not fit) with the actual story and instead are swayed by the opinions of others. It must be hard to not be able to form your own opinions and just lean on the judgement of others for all decisions, good luck with that.Honestly it's been one of my favorite games so far and I've always looked forward to the next update, but after reading the comments about how the dev fucked up the harem ending of this game and his weird explanation of why he did it that way ending and that it was supposedly so that there could be a sequel, which as it turns out won't even be with the same MC but a completely new one, it makes me completely reluctant to play this game any more and I'm not even going to download this latest update so as not to clutter up my hard drive.
And I must admit that I'm very disappointed that such a cool game, which was one of my favourites so far, has lost its potential with such a bad ending.
And normally I would wish dev good luck with his next projects, but as I'm terribly disappointed with him sorry I won't do it.
So RIP "Depth's Revival".
This isn't Hollywood. Honestly, what did you expect from a single developer porn game ending? Just completing it is an accomplishment that many have failed to achieve due their endless quest for a legendary ending.This doesn't mean the ending wasn't bad
Thanks for sharing that, I guess.View attachment 4033673
