I don't understand. Humiliate Zahra how? And why? I really don't think MC is going to divorce his perfect wife just to marry a slave that he can already have while keeping Zahra. She is the perfect woman to have at the household managing everything. She is obedient to MC that is true, but she can be quite dominate herself when it comes to the family and servants. That is the exact kind of woman you need in charge while you are off doing missions. Not to mention she is really sexy.

I'll counter your suggestion by saying, keep Zahra and just get more slaves and servants.

there is one shorter sequence where you can play as shani, yup, though the dev has said that he has no intention of making a proper multiple protagonists/fmc game.

I should point out that in the very post you link to, I also say that a lot of things have not yet been mapped out, and we have not yet decided upon. We're several months and a couple updates later, but that still holds true in the broader picture.

If you have played the game and actually read the content, you'll know that sooner or later, Shani will head to the Zone, and be on her own there...
I'm not making any promises because we haven't decided yet, or if we have, Z has not yet communicated it to me, but chances are that there will be the option to get a third person account of what happens to her in the Zone, after the facts...but would you really not want to see a whole scene or two, maybe the bulk of an update, of well crafted game and narrative because it's done through the eyes of Shani whilst Zaton is sat at home knitting a scarf with his palls?

I just hope it doesn't become a habit. It's optional now and that's fine. And I'll probably watch the Shani zone scenes because I want to know what it is all about, but I really don't like the idea of switching MCs. I usually avoid those types of games. I prefer the immersive experience of being one MC...my MC..the one I created and named at the beginning of the game.

A lot of male to female protag switch stories, or female protag games in general, just end up being: see how many ways you can have your female protag molested and gang fucked. Now I don't think the dev has any intention of going to that extreme, but I still loathe the idea of a forced switch. The optional part is much appreciated, but as you said yourself, we are going to miss out on the Zone content if we don't play as Shani. And another thing, I don't like the idea of transitioning to a character that I want to fuck. Isn't that like, trying to fuck myself??? Hell, I can do that anytime.

There is a big difference you are forgetting. You start that game as protagonist Lara and play as Lara throughout. I'm completely fine with that. It's the switching back and forth between MCs that I have a problem with.

and Tomb Raider isn't an AVN where one of the goals is to romance (and fuck) LIs. No, you're playing as tomb raider and that's it. You can be attracted to Lara, sure, but you aren't going to see a bunch of dudes running a train on her. Again, i don't think this dev will have that happen to Shani, but I much prefer to engage with her as my Zetan MC.

I haven't played any multiple protag tomb raider games, but I think a game being porn-related makes a huge difference. I can happily play a female protag non-AVN game where you are not trying to have guys fuck your MC (you) as a goal.

But again, my primary issue here is not the sex stuff, it's that I have identified with one character from the start, Zetan. That character is me. Hopefully after the zone content, this protag switch stuff will be phased out. If it ends up being...Shani goes on solo missions every other episode, then I'm out. If I can't go on missions with her then the game loses much of its appeal. The interactions between Zetan and Shani (and the other girls in the family) have been some of the best in the game.

Bottom line...I want to be with Shani, not be Shani.

It does for me. But I think this just isn't the kind of game I was looking for and that's ok. Not every game has to be everyone's cup of tea. This one is a moving in a direction that I'm not interested in, but I think most people will still love it.

I'm pretty sure the dev said he is adding a function in the next episode to allow you to change the relationships/names at any point in the game. Perhaps an option to do so in the library.
