If you're implying that she had sex with Zaton, I don't see the problem.I mean, if you're in favor of letting Shani have sex with whoever she wants, why should we restrict her from loving and exploring her sexuality that she's been forced to suppress for years? So if you are in favor of fairness, then let's be fair and let Shani choose for herself whether or not she wants a relationship with MC. Plus, if I remember correctly, the player always has the choice to let MC have sex with her and go to a deeper level of relationship or not.

Her hypothetical optional future sex with Mandisa' slaves (if that's what dev meant) is supposedly a sign of a strong-willed Shani, while sex with the closest person is a sign that Shani is “losing her will too quickly”. If that's the point you're trying to make, it smacks of a double standard to me (no offense) and I definitely can't agree with it.

I will add from myself that in the latter case ("Shani self") she becomes more self-centered in her decisions and less inclined to mercy and humanity in the general sense of these words.(imo) For example, some of her lines in the dialog with MC about the possible fate of Zeta and humans in general will differ depending on values of “help” and “self” points.

I was just pointing out the inconsistency of the people who want Shani to make her own decisions in life and be independent and choose for herself, but when it comes to sex that doesn´t seem to apply. She can only fuck the MC and other potential male partners are out of the question, even if she might want that. This probably has something to do with the sharing/NTR hate, so people will be against any girl having sex with anyone besides the MC anyway.

Shani can choose what she likes (within reason) cuz that's what the dev decided to do, creating a confident girl with a certain degree of autonomy. However, let's not forget that the MC in this game is not Shani, but Zaton. Yes, I don't mind Shani continuing to demonstrate her assertiveness within reasonable limits. Plus, she has mastered her father's dangerous profession, a profession that imposes a number of unspoken obligations on a person, such as self-confidence, assertiveness, boldness, and so on).

However, I want to note that this is not a game with a female protagonist, so the fact that the dev has kindly given players the opportunity to “be in the skin a bit" of Shani, I consider simply as a pleasant bonus and interesting game experience, and not as some kind of obligation of the dev to make all the future content to please those players who suddenly decided that Shani should be the second full-fledged MC in a harem male game.

Absolutely right and I'm one of the players who thinks so. Although, for all that, I am well aware that sharing in Desert Stalker is strikingly different from most other games and here it is presented not as an act of weakness, but as a gesture of a strong-willed "Master of life" (MC), so confident in his abilities that he can share someone close to him with others close to him. However, it's still not my cup of tea....Anyway, as long as sharing remains optional (and according to the mod in the dev discord, it will be), I can live with it.

Yes it will be a big leap. Shani isn't interested in other people at all except the mc. Only reason she even started kissing the queen is to manipulate and bring her under the mc and also she is a woman. If we asked her to stop she would immediately do so without question.
