i keep getting this error when trying to launch 0.55

If you're using a mod, make sure you have the most up-to-date version. KoGa3 updated it this month, so if you were using that and haven't updated, just get his latest version. If you're using the Gallery Unlocker, it looks like that's out-of-date now (September of last year). Finally, if you're not using either of those and haven't downloaded it yet, you might want to get the hotfix linked on the OP (first page of this thread, with other download links), although I can't remember precisely what that fixes.

Even if Lilly were our Mom, there'd be no reason for Vali to recognize her. Vali only came back to reality when we were already 30. If Lilly were being put forward as our great^n grandmother then yea you'd expect Vali to recognize her. I don't see Lilly being related to us in any way.

BHG has said that there'll probably be incest and he'll just have it behind a patch. But the incest is mostly just going to be between the various siblings and cousins;

Gadira and Faiza are cousins
Zuzanna and Ivette and sisters
Sam and Rosa are sisters
Adam/Eve and Hope are siblings
Grace and Natasha are "sisters"

I can't remember was the soul eating ever actually stated by Vali as being seperate from Necromancer power? Because if it weren't I wouldn't be too surprised if it's just a necro power that only the very strongest can do. But equally, I wouln'trule out our having a powerful demon or other magical being in our family tree

Immediately afterwards he said that it's now clear which bloodline you come from but in usual Vali fashion refused to elaborate further. IMHO MC should ask Nat and/or Liliah about it. They look like the people to know about such things.

Vali grundingly admits that he wasn't exactly shy about sowing his seed far & wide either, so there is no guarantee that grand-grandmommy³ has even been seen on-screen yet.
But it is possible that dragons devouring their enemies might have a more "magical" background than simple feeding in this setting, so we likely shouldn't count Siv out

Maybe someone else wants to take a crack at it. I never saw this error at all when launching v0.55, and your mention of it is the first I remember seeing about the error. If you provide a save, maybe BlackHandGames can help, although I assume he's busy generally.

I've removed the unlocker that I had and added the gallery hotfix but I still don't have the new scenes in the gallery for 0.55 (club and Kimmy IIRC). Anyone have any ideas?

That's one hell of a theory right there. It would explain a lot although I remember she wasn't completely enamored with him until after he showed his patron's power.

First try to ignore the error, if that doesn't work re-download.

I didn't update it.There's only one new scene and the gallery code is changing.

No. Or not yet, at least. And given the existing Girls lists posted by Blackhand earlier in the thread, if anything does happen, it'd be a side scene anyway. That said, there has been some talk about the minions in the Discord and Blackhand said he's had requests for more monstrous girls, but nothing concrete. IIRC, though, the interest was mainly in Devrin, the other minion with the toothed maw on the top of her head.

I wouldn't mind more monstrous girls, but what i'm hoping most is that we get green girls, both big green and little green are fine, basically shortstacks or amazons

We might see more of her but I doubt it, but she's def not going to be a harem member. I can't see any more green girls being a harem member. Unless you mean the in-universe 'Green Law' definition of green, in which case we'll have more "green" girls joining the harem.
