Other than the Charlene/Sergio scene, Kelly/Harris scene and Aubrey/Sabrina scenes .....3 singular scenes and kind of half of a scene because Aubrey never reciprocated in that morning scene if you chose to keep Sabrina in the room......what are the other scenes being shown where other NPCs are having sex more than the MC? The MC has scenes with Joyce, Rachel, Mac, Leah, Renee and Sheena....plus a little bit of a romance scene with Aubrey when they're outside to start that rolling on Day 5(And if you read the dialogue between Sabrina and Aubrey, you would know there's a chance for the MC to be involved there if that's what the player chose)....You're statement is inaccurate when you say "and so far unfortunately in your game you show mostly scenes of other NPCs having sex with each other." If you read the story along with viewing, there's a reason why those 3 scenes are being shown. By the way, with "romance", there are two date options on Day 4 to set up those lines if the player down the line if the player wants to go that route. Your comments pretty much tell me you haven't read much of what's said in the game.....and that's cool. I get it...a porn game, you want to see action.....but there's only 3 actual sex scenes that don't involve the MC, yet move the story forward. Not everyone is like you. Not everyone is like me or the people reading this. I appreciate your opinion, but I don't know what to tell you because you're complaints really don't match up to what's actually there in the game. I mean, you literally have 4 possible romance lines to this point so far. So what exactly is your issue? Are you meaning romance lines aren't open to the ones that you want to pursue? That I can totally understand and some changes will be made in the next update. Maybe something is getting lost in translation on what you're trying to mean and if so, I apologize for me trying to understand what you're trying to say....because again, the complaints you listed are just inaccurate.

The easiest example for me is MC and Aubrey who from the beginning of the game seemed to be the main LI available to MC and so far we see more of a "romance" between her and this whole Sabrina who she has barely met, and Aubrey has a history with MC and they have known each other for a long time and so far it seems to me that MC if he wants to have a romance with her he will have to accept her together with Sabrina and if he wants only just Aubrey (which I am more interested in) it will be much harder for him to get Aubrey to fall in love with him without Sabrina involed - so for me this example does not really fit with romance and love if the MC from the very beginning has a rival in the form of Sabrina who is competing with him for the affections and love of Aubrey.
But of course, this is only my subjective opinion, but what I probably know if I do not create this game and I have no idea how it will develop further.

I like the story overall, but the point system to unlock h-scenes seems to be a bit too restrictive. For example, in seems that in order to get enough points to get the full scene with Aubrey and Sabrina, the player needs to be only pursuing Aubrey. To me this just doesn't make much sense. To see Aubrey having sex with someone else the MC has to be loyal? That would make sense in a game geared for the NTR audience, but here it just doesn't, imo.

Also, the relationship dynamic between Audrey and Sabrina felt off. Sabrina was initiating the sex, because Aubrey seems to be shy and a bit submissive. Then after the scene Aubrey becomes possessive and dominant telling Sabrina that she is HER pet? Unless Audrey is secretly bipolar, that just felt out of character to me. I mean, she is supposed to be the sweet one, isn't she?

Any way looking forward to the next update.

Actually, if you want that scene with Aubrey/Sabrina at the end of day 5, choose to keep Sabrina in the room in the morning...granted, if you are a total jerk to Aubrey for duration of the game to that point, that will prevent you from seeing that content. Loyalty doesn't have any significance there.

Ok, now I understand where you're coming from, lol. That is a fair point. Stuff will change in the future. Remember, Aubrey's rule for the MC while living under her roof....no fucking. Plus, even though they have known each other, it has been awhile. I didn't want to develop that right away and kind of wanted to build and be a slow burn. There will be more choices in the future that directly impacts the Aubrey/Sabrina situation...we're just not there yet

Possibly. We did change some stuff in 0.05.3, so it might have effected your save.

If you used a save from 0.04.x, then it's very possible. Ideally, Poncho and I would catch everything that needs to be tracked in a version when we first release it, but that hasn't happened yet even once. We're getting more paranoid better at it though! In any case, as a rule of thumb, while old save files will almost always still work in new versions, we can't guarantee that there won't be some odd behaviors.

The classic briefcase full of money scene would've done just fine, and it would've a lot more clear too. They also could've had the detective hand over evidence to be destroyed or something like that to show that she was on the take. Instead, we got a confusing scene that left a lot of players wondering if she was being raped and held captive against her will.

Meanwhile, nobody was confused about the Mayor because she had a crystal clear scene that showed her to be on the take. It was one of those scenes were two people were just talking about it. Which apparently "lacks any impact" according to person who wrote the scene. I'd argue that just throwing random sex scenes in for shock value might have an impact on the audience, but it's a lot like jump scares in horror movies. They're both just cheap tactics that annoy people and make for a poor product in the end.

While I didn't get as upset about it as some of the commenters here, I assumed there was likely to be an element of non-consent or forcedness to their scene, given that the only solid fact we know about Harris is that she's been harassing Kelly for a while.

Tbh. their relationship didn't make sense to me, so I just thought "oh well, presumably that'll be made clear later." If she's just another dirty cop, I don't really see what's to be gained from all the drama they're creating.

The MC isn't getting overlooked. If you read the story(MC with Aubrey outside and Aub/Sab scene on day five...as well as the lawyer office scene on Day 3 I think) depending upon your choices, Aubrey fully takes the MC into consideration. Some of what I got planned for the story hasn't come to fruition yet.....but to say the MC is being overlooked is inaccurate.

Most games, you can't get the better LI's off the bat. Work has to go into it. I understand with our lack of a schedule that it does seem like a lot of time has been put in. I get that.....but it is what it is. Everyone keeps telling us to write the story we want, but then proceeds to tell us everything we're doing wrong directly after. Most of the games I see on here, I don't see them getting that criticism and they're allowed to build their story. This was only an update, it wasn't the end of anything....so give it time to build.

As for the issue with the grabbing and feeling between Aubrey and Sabrina, go back to Day 2 at the yoga studio. It's set up there that there is some type of an attraction....so things happening in a span of a few days isn't "off the bat". Hell, I've had a few times in real life where I just met a woman and later on that night I'm fucking her face down and ass up. If there's chemistry there's chemistry.

I just wish people would stop treating updates as if they were a definitive end. They're updates. Please, be patient.

Thing is, MC can hit it off with one bae or another rather quickly also, it is just that things work slower with Aub.

The fact she a li, not a side quick hook up, is a good explanation.

On the other hand, Kelly has been hitting on her hard for some time and she is reluctant,
even before MC shows up,
while Kelly insulting pig way seems to land him the detective in 2 seconds flat.

Fact is, chemistry is still there with Aubrey and MC is shown to be there first, before Sabrina,
but Sabrina jumps in front of the line because she the new meat in the grinder.

Sometimes, the accurate portraya of MC”s struggles and the inconsistencies he himself sees in his character,
those you gave him and now it is explained are there to show depth, antihero material and the fact he needs
this slower burn as he works through his insecurities, that is the bread and butter of this game.

At the kelly shark bae murder emporium I thought the mayor was the black dude in a suit.
Then in the backstage of the wrestling venue I kept seeing three babes talking and one was the mayor, the others were the help.
Then I saw Aub and Sab and one of the babes in the trio from the backstage and Aub said she would not vote for her.
So color me confused at this point.

I wouldn't say Kelly had Det. Harris in 2 seconds flat. On Day 1, she's shown in the bar arguing with Kelly plus little hints here and there insinuating she has been in his pocket for awhile now. I didn't quite want to spell it out for everyone. But yeah, she's been in his pocket.....I guess I'll spell out this next part...I was using the idea of her pulling Aubrey's records and the MC's as showing jealousy. Kelly focuses a lot on Aubrey, but sees Det. Harris as a hook up and it rubs the Detective the wrong way because she wants Kelly for herself. So I hope that helps with the question about the Detective.

The black guy is Isiah, that's Sarah's(Leah's ex) boyfriend/pimp/fiance/whatever you want to call him....He's a record label owner who came up the long way....as Alex5280 pointed out, the mayor was the woman on Day 3 who shows up with the three backstage. Maggie was the one that was with Aub and Sab before Aub went outside.

Character textboxes now come with unique character portraits, making it much easier to remember who's who and to avoid getting lost in conversations.

At least I know now that my patch has more than a few users.

On-The-Fly TextBox Switcher Mod with Color Preview and Opacity adjustment

First of all id like thank OP for making this mod it is really helpfull for allot of games.

I have to start by saying that im no coder or anything and i dont understand most of the code that is used to make these kind of mods but id just want to drop this file here for anyone if there having trouble, its something i made by using the OG file made by Penfold Mole and combining it with a mod that changed the preference's menu to be able to change text size and transparency i really like the quick menu style that Penfold Mole made and wanted to have that in most of the games i played so i copied and pasted some code together untill i got it to work to have the flexibility to change the text background and size with the quick menu only downside is that it overwrites the menu the game maker included and i cant really help or anything if it doesnt work for you.

i hope this is ok to post here if its not let me know and ill remove it

The headshot of MC is marvelously unflattering and way underappreciative .
Also, the hard cut photo makes mods that do away with the hideous textbox useless.
Penfold Mole , Divide_By_Zero , Mo81us .. can your transparency mods make these:
